Meet Shelby, our Golf Departments newest Project Estimator.

Shelby has been with Aspen for 3 years working behind the scenes as our Golf Social Media Manager and as our Project Manager Administrative Assistant. Do not worry as our beloved estimator Adam has not left us, but will be exploring his new role as a Project Manager. We are excited to welcome Shelby into this new role . If you did not get a chance to meet her at the GCSA Conference in Myrtle Beach, she will be at the GCSAA Conference in San Diego.

Hole 1

Irrigation is live.
The new green has been sodded. The new tees are shaped, the tee mix is installed, and Billy Bunker sand has been installed in all bunkers.

Hole 8

The new green, tees, and bunkers have been roughed in

The fairway cut continues and is near completion with the shaping to follow.
The new green has been roughed in and the pond has been de-mucked and is nearly filled.

Hole 17

The new green sod has been installed. Billy Bunker Gravel has been installed in the greenside bunker. The fairway fill work is complete and the new tee adjustments are underway.

We are on week 15 of the Cincinnati Country Club renovation alongside Joe Zinchini, Joel Braun with Technical Choice, Dr. Michael John Hurdzan, and Dr. Christopher Michael Hurdzan with Hurdzan Golf Course Design.

Here is a brief update on some of the incredible work taking place so far,

Hole 1 has a new approach view from the fairway. The new green received tile drainage and green mix. The greenside bunkers are having tile drainage installed and edge shaping is underway. The new fairway bunker has tile drainage being installed and the edge shaping is underway. Fill work continues in the valley between the prior 1st and 18th fairways, bringing it up to the new grade.

Hole 3 has live irrigation with sod work being completed on all tees, fairway bunker, and greenside bunker. The hole is being prepped for seeding and cart path installation.

Hole 10 the fairway cut has begun.
