This is officially the latest in the year I’ve ever shark fished. With water temperatures still close to 70 they were biting like crazy today. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks after all.

Forgot to post this one taken last Friday. The super moon had the tide up in the marsh but that didn't stop us from catching trout and reds all morning. My guest even took a few to Mudcat Charlie's and they prepared them for lunch. Thanks Herb for fishing with me.

Man it was HOT yesterday. The weather and the fishing. Caught around 40 rat reds just under 14 inches. Next month these should be ready to harvest. Bulls were biting slow but steady and even managed to pick up a few nice trout. Water is slowly returning to normal. It's going to be a good October.
