The Audubon Bird Sanctuary is undergoing a prescribed burn this week. During the controlled burn, the sanctuary will be closed to the public.

Good Morning, Today the Town is conducting the 2nd day of the control burn in the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. The town is Conducting this with the Alabama Forestry Commission. There will be a lot of Fire resources in the area. Please Avoid the area if at all possible. The bird sanctuary will be closed to the public for the remainder of the burn. Please be aware of smoke in the area.

The People's Parade will roll today!

The parade will start from the Dauphin Island Sea Lab at 1 p.m. Expect heavy traffic heading to the island, and roads will be blocked during the parade, so plan accordingly.
