Muppet Courtyard is such a fun area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. ❤️ Since so many people walk right past it on their way to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge it’s much less crowded in the morning too.
If you’re in need of some shade head to Muppet Vision 3D first, otherwise it’s fun to just wander the courtyard. 🥰
On our last visit I found a shady table which was the perfect spot to relax and regroup. We also placed some mobile lunch orders- it was a nice quiet place to decide when and where we were eating. There is also a bathroom in Muppet Courtyard outside the PizzaRizzo seating area which is rarely busy because it’s kind of hidden. ✅
Don’t forget to take a picture at the Miss Piggy fountain! 😍

I still miss the gift shop with all the Muppets merch though. 😢 Does anyone else remember this store?

This is such a cute board game… and it’s nice to have screen-free activities for the whole family. 🙌 We’ve stocked up on a few different games and puzzles for you to enjoy during your stay. ☺️

Some of the sports available at Bahama Bay Resort & Spa include tennis, basketball and pickleball.🎾 Simply reserve a court ahead of time at the Clubhouse, then pick up the equipment and you’re good to go! 👍🏼
The courts are located near the Clubhouse and are large and well-maintained; we were glad to finally try them out! These courts are another feature of this family-friendly resort that we love! 🥰

On one of our days off from the parks we indulged in some serious R and R. Taking some down time is important…too often we pack our days full of activities, only to be tired when we return from our vacation! 😝

Slow down and enjoy some time in our fluffy robes and slippers! 😍
Guests of can enjoy large airy bathrooms and whirlpool bath tubs while pampering themselves. 🛁
We were travelling with teens and this turned out to be a great way to enjoy a day off from the Disney parks!

We recently learned about some of the recreation activities offered at Riviera Resort, including a painting class called “Painting on the Riviera”. This two-hour class is held weekly, costs $50 and includes a food and beverage option.
They also had some cute crafts in The Eventi Room, including painting your own ceramics. 🎨
The Skyliner Rally scavenger hunt also looks really fun. It involves taking the Skyliner to all the connecting resorts to find answers to the clues. 🗺️
We completed some of Riviera’s own scavenger hunt by finding a hidden Pascal. We each got a cute button to take home! 😊
We were really impressed with all of these fun options and hope to try more of them out one day!

The Riviera Resort has a large courtyard with gardens, paths, benches, swings, and an oversized chess set. 🤩 It’s such a beautiful setting!
We came in on this side of the resort because we arrived on the Skyliner. We had fun exploring the outside of this deluxe resort before heading to Le Petit Cafe for breakfast. ☕️

More ways to cool off around the resort. 💦 This large splash pad area is great for kids big and small, and offers shady areas, benches and tables to sit and relax. It’s also convenient to restrooms and the Clubhouse. 👍🏼
It’s also adorably themed and usually not crowded! ☺️

The pools at were a lifesaver last week in the hot temperatures. 🙏 We spent four days enjoying most of what the resort has to offer. ☺️ I’ll be posting some more of the things and Bahama Bay have to offer families on vacation. 🌴

Charcuterie night 🧀 🫒

A no-fuss charcuterie board was just what we needed after a hot and rainy day at Animal Kingdom yesterday. We rope dropped the park and got a lot of exercise too, so I was glad not to cook! 😮‍💨
Our dining room seats 6-8 people comfortably and is open to both the kitchen and living areas. The girls transitioned pretty smoothly from dinner table to couch for another Disney movie night. 😍

This picture brings back such great memories…when our oldest still dressed as a princess each day, and meeting characters and filling autograph books was a major part of our trip! ❤️
We are visiting Disney at the end of this week, and she is just as excited as the first time! I don’t think we’ll do any character dining, but we’re still hoping to meet some throughout the parks. 🙌

Mickey balloons on Main St. 🎈✨

I love these gorgeous clusters of balloons available at Disney parks. There is something so beautiful and joyous about them, and seeing kids’ faces light up when they get a balloon is priceless.😍
I recently learned that if your balloon pops or deflates, a balloon Cast Member will replace your balloon free of charge. 🥰 You can also get a replacement voucher at Guest Relations/Experience.
Make sure to deflate your balloon before bringing it on the airplane! ✈️

Do you purchase Mickey balloons, or would you rather spend that money on something else? If so, what? 🤔

Following the thread of Disney’s attention to details, this ride is also a great example. 🎢 I find we take just as many photos in the ride queues as we do walking around the parks. 😆 (Luckily I put my phone away shortly after snapping this picture!)
I love that we always notice something new, even on a ride that we have been on many times. It’s probably one of the reasons why we don’t tire of going to Disney… we actually love it more every time we visit. ❤️

Disney really does the details right. Yesterday we were at Canada’s largest amusement park, and although they have many rides (some of them are impressive thrill rides) it was still lacking something for us. It’s not exactly comparing apples to apples, but we still missed our Disney details.
This reinforces some of the reasons why we love visiting WDW: Disney isn’t just about rides, but all the other details that go into the theming, storytelling and guest experience.
We’re off to in five short days, and I can’t wait for that dose of Disney magic. ✨

What is your favourite ride queue at WDW? We love so many, but one of our faves is Kali River Rapids. ❤️

Can’t wait to see this view again. 😍
For our upcoming trip we are doing a split stay between and Pop Century Resort. We are looking forward to hopping on the Skyliner for easy access to Epcot and HS. 🚠
We are also going to drop in at Riviera Resort, as we have never been there! I want to explore the resort, take some pictures and hit Le Petit Café. ☕️

During our last stay we went on a few outings, including a fun night out at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
We honestly just enjoyed walking around and taking pictures, and had a casual dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe.
This was an easy and inexpensive way to enjoy one of Disney’s deluxe resorts, and as a bonus we took the monorail to Magic Kingdom to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours! 🤩

These cute statues can be spotted on the way into Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. 👻
I’m currently planning my outfit for the party. It’s not a fancy costume, as I’m trying to think more about comfort and staying cool all night. It’s more of a theme than a costume actually… 😝
Anyone have some past or current costume ideas to share? Last year I just wore a black dress and some Nightmare Before Christmas Mickey ears. 🖤🤍

I’m definitely still enjoying summer here in Canada, but I can’t help remembering how gorgeous Magic Kingdom looks with fall decorations. I’m so excited to see them again soon (even though I know it will still feel like summer 🥵)!
The weather here in fall is definitely sweater weather…the leaves fall from the trees and it’s much cooler. In fact, the nights here are already around 57 degrees F.
Do you prefer summer or fall? Is it too early to think about fall and Halloween?

The Tree of Life is such a stunning sight. 🤩 It’s 145 feet tall and has over 300 animal carved into its trunk. You can get an up close look at this iconic symbol on the Discovery Island Trails, along with other natural beauty and animal life. 🌱

We love Animal Kingdom because it is beautiful, laid-back, and the closest Disney park to !

When we’re not at the parks, we love to enjoy the beautiful grounds at Bahama Bay Resort. 🌴
The Nature Trails wind around beautiful lakes and it is just gorgeous and tropical. 😍
If you are a runner or walker you will appreciate these well-maintained paths. Since the paths are paved they’re perfect for strollers too. ☺️

Some beautiful birds from our recent trek to Animal Kingdom. 😍 There are so many photo opportunities here it’s ridiculous! The best time to wander around and get people-free pics is in the morning- the light is less harsh than when the sun is high in the sky, plus it’s cooler! Win-win 🙌

A few more amenities to share: shuffleboard courts, sports courts (basketball, tennis, and pickleball) and electric car charger.
These are all within short walking distance of our condo. 🥰

We loved exploring Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter on our last visit. 🐊 One evening we took a Friendship Boat from Disney Springs to French Quarter (about a 20-minute boat ride) and enjoyed walking around the beautiful cobblestone streets with its colourful Marci Gras characters.

We then enjoyed a night of food and jazz at S**t Cat’s Club Lounge. This was a super fun and inexpensive outing from as the transportation was free and there is no cover charge at the lounge.

We hope to explore more fun things to do on our next trip in a couple weeks! ✈️

A gentle giant. 🦍

The Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. 🌳
On this self-guided trail through the tropical Pangani Forest you can spot many African animals, including these western lowland gorillas. I am so amazed by these animals every time I see them. 💕
If you haven’t taken this scenic and serene trek before, we highly recommend it!
