Merrry Christmas. 10 weeks after hurricane Milton blew through, we have a new pool enclosure! I still miss the white, it went so well with the color scheme of the villa, but the dark looks so nice. I’ll post more on a sunny day and when we get the lights re-hung.

The Orlando area and Highland Reserve where Flamingo Oasis is located is cleaning up after Hurricane Milton. There was no damage to the house, but the pool cage collapsed from high winds. We are working with insurance to get it replaced as soon as possible. We’re relieved no one was hurt and the house itself was not damaged. Don’t worry the Flamingos, Flynn and Mingo were safely inside during the storm.

We arrived at flamingo oasis last night to a rainbow and beautiful sunset. We’re looking forward to a good week “home” and making sure everything here is in good shape.

Who is dreaming of a Florida spring vacation? Flamingo Oasis is avilable April 6th to the 28th and May 6th to the 31st! Mininum of 5 night stay. April and May are wonderful months to visit central Florida. Normally warm, but not too warm and less rain than the summer months.
