Two of our most asked questions is which airline is best and what rental car company should we use?
Here is why we almost always (99% of the time) fly Southwest Airlines:
1. Flights are in and out of Buffalo - very small and easy airport to navigate. You basically park your car, drop off your bags and board the plane
2. Great flight times.
3. We fly Southwest approx 15 flights per year and have never had a cancelled flight (I cannot say the same for JetBlue, Frontier or spirit). A $50 flight one way is a great deal until your flight is cancelled and those small airlines don’t fly to Orlando every day and half of your vacation is missed. Cheaper doesn’t always mean it’s a good idea!
4. Southwest allows each person 2 full size checked suitcases, plus a carryon and a personal item for no extra charge
5. You can change your flight up until 20 minutes before it boards
6. Super friendly staff!
7. If your flight time is changed by them (yes it can happen) they let you change your flight time up to 2 times for no charge
8. We always rent our cars with Alamo
9. Alamo rental car is a very reputable company and they are located very conveniently after you pick up your bags in the Orlando airport.
10. Do not under any circumstance Rent-A-Car from an offsite rental car company.
11. Alamo has always been amazing and has a great selection of cars, SUVs and extra large vehicles. Once you pay for your vehicle, you go into the parking garage and choose which car you would like and drive away. So my suggestion for flights and rental cars Southwest for flights and Alamo for rental cars!
*** Southwest Airlines does not have assigned seating so you must check in exactly 24 hours prior to your flight. They will give you a number in which you board the plane and you choose your own seat on the airplane is imperative if you fly southwest if you want to sit together that you check in for your flight exactly 24 hours to the minute prior to your flight!

(Anyone who knows us knows we HATE carpet lol)!!
Master suite is the floor on the right and the other 2 bedrooms is the floor on the left! 🎉*
