We are always improving Sunset Villa! Earlier this month, new windows and sliding glass door were installed. These new energy efficient windows and door will make Sunset Villa much more comfortable, especially during the hot summer months.

We are so happy to report Sunset Villa received no damage from Hurricane Milton! Power was lost, but it already has been restored. However, our hearts are still breaking for all those who weren’t as lucky as us. This storm was brutal!

School is finally out for our boys and we headed straight to Sunset Villa!

Travel Tip for our fellow Northeast Peeps-
We tried the Auto Train from Lorton, VA which was awesome! We departed the station at 5pm and arrived in Sanford, FL (about an hour north of Sunset Villa) around 9:00am the next day. Our boys thought it was so much fun, especially the dining car, as shown. And we loved being able to pack as much as we wanted into our car without needing to worry about packing light for a flight, plus not having to get a rental car.
