Proud Koda moment - we went to a village country show yesterday about an hours drive from home. A nice day out and got to catch up with an old classmate who was displaying some of her fabulous artwork - check out her stunning paintings on her page Art by Sam (especially if you are an animal lover).

Emily and James entered Koda into some of the dog competitions and the very first judging was for best crossbreed and he only went and won. Here he is proudly showing off his first place rosette.

We posted a few weeks ago about the positive impact of social media and one such example from us was that we have made friends with a number of people off the back off some blogs.

It’s like Jurassic Park out here - love the conservation area at the rear of our home. As well as a lovely view you see (and hear!!) some wonderful animals and birds.

Just a quiet, peaceful late afternoon at Providence 😎 - bliss.

You do get pretty spectacular thunder and lightning here (mind this was about an hour before it was right over our villa and the rain pouring down so that wasn’t quite so nice!!!)

VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING BOOKINGS FOR GOOFYS GOLF GETAWAY With the way the world has moved on with technology and especially how it is utilised by the younger generation, we have decided after having received the latest request to stay at our villa, that all future booking requests will need to be in video format (albeit with hopefully less takes than this one - they got there in the end though 🤣)

Our current guest did a walk through video of Goofys Golf Getaway yesterday and even invited me to join the live broadcast. Bev has very kindly said I can share the video on our page as think its great to show or home through a guests eyes and hear their comments rather than just the videos we post. Yesterday was spent on a “new project”. Goods delivered and installed by Best Buy by 10.30 am (excellent service all round and bearing in mind delivery was scheduled between 10.30 and 2.30!) then lots and lots of careful measuring, double-checking, re-aligning, drillings and fixing. Hope you like the end result
