Owners have to have faith and trust potential guests just like guests have to trust owners.
There are so many ways a potential guest can check out an owner from their licence numbers , address, photos, social media, advertising sites and zoom or face calls.
It is not so easy for an owner to do the same.
An owner trusting a guest in Their home that they have worked hard to get, who spend $1000s making it comfortable and inviting do not have any guarantees.
I don't want any potential guest to feel doubtful but at the same time I don't want to be messed about back and forth for weeks on end with no confirmation.
I am still paying for my villa, I put my heart and soul into making my home loving and warm and have built up a reputation with my guests both directly and indirectly. Some become friends and follow me too. When you speak to me and hear my story of how I got CPV you know everything is done with Love and Kindness
Guests are required to complete a booking form and pay a 20% deposit (after I have called them). The balance is due ten weeks prior to arrival together with a refundable damages amount which is refunded 7-10 days after departure.
Once the 20% is received I send two forms of receipt . One by email/messenger/WhatsApp and one by Post regardless of country.
When full payment is received then I send confirmation again with all the details required to reach property, entrance, alarm, internet details etc.
I welcome all potential guests to follow me or my villa page and most often they become friends returning year after year or every other year.
