'I’d like to thank Maria and Rob, we have just returned from our holiday and had a wonderful time.
Contact with Maria was seamless, all enquiries were answered promptly, booking was easy. On our return Maria contacted us immediately to return our deposit refund.
The “Hideaway” is very peaceful, located in a quiet area of the community. Ideal to return to for some R and R after a hectic day in the parks.
We made lots of use of the pool area enjoying the south facing conservation views. The villa was spacious and comfortable with well-equipped rooms, fantastic air conditioning and fans.
Once again, thank you Rob and Maria – we’ll be returning (hopefully very soon)'.

A polite notice to our guests.

We have began to notice an increase in the number of car hire companies in Florida who are offering a variety of electric vehicles to visitors.
Unfortunately however, we are unable to provide any kind of recharging system at our villa.
As a result, any guests who hire an electric vehicle must find suitable charging stations elsewhere, and must not under any circumstances attempt to recharge the vehicle using the electrical supply at Hills Bay Hideaway.
Our current terms and conditions will be updated to confirm this restriction.

Well after our first post retirement stay, its time for us to return to the U.K. We always aim to improve or update Hills Bay Hideaway on each visit, and this one was no exception, new paint means our villa looks better than ever. Role on January 2024 for more updates and improvements.

So did you know that your state has some pretty crazy laws? Here are just three of them:

1. It's illegal to sing in a public place while wearing a swimsuit. So much for those impromptu poolside karaoke sessions!

2. If you tie an elephant to a parking meter, you have to pay the same parking fee as you would for a car. I don't know about you, but I'd love to see someone try to fit an elephant in a parking spot.

3. In Florida, it's illegal to skateboard without a license. Because clearly, riding a board with wheels requires the same level of training and expertise as driving a car.
