Testing and tuning our snowmaking system this morning at Timberline Mountain!

Winter has yet to fully set in, but early test runs of snowmaking like this allow us to fine tune our system after off-season improvements.

Opening day is yet to be determined, but we’re ready to take advantage of any snowmaking weather that comes our way!

It’s official: the season is here to stay!

With the forecast calling for winter weather and more snowmaking opportunities beginning Monday, we’re making the call to remain open through the week of December 4th and beyond. Our goal is to continue snowmaking through the week to open even more terrain by next weekend.

To celebrate the start of the season, our Preview Weekend perks will remain in effect until Thursday, December 7th!

Ski weekend here we come!!!

Snowmaking resumes at Timberline Mountain!

Our team has been closely monitoring conditions for the optimal snowmaking window, and it’s finally here! This week’s low temperatures, low humidity, and minimal winds create the opportunity for some extremely productive snowmaking. Our resources were conserved over the weekend for these better conditions, allowing us to sustain snowmaking throughout the week. You can expect to see significant snow coverage over the next few days.

It’s still too soon to call an opening day, but this week’s snowmaking means the season is just around the corner!
