C’mon out, enjoy the snow and cozy up by the fire. We have availability for opening weekend!

It’s been an unbelievable run of snowmaking here at Timberline Mountain! We already have an unreal amount of snow on the mountain, and there are still several more days of incredible snowmaking weather ahead!

This full-tilt snowmaking means that we’ll have the majority of our terrain open on the first weekend of the season!

To celebrate the start of the season, Bonus Days will be in effect from Thursday, December 5th to Thursday, December 12th!

Bonus Day lift tickets will be reduced to $60, and rentals to $29! These Bonus Day lift tickets must be purchased in person at the ticket window.

Perfect & Gold season passholders can bring a friend for free! Perfect & Gold Season Pass holders are permitted one guest per day, and both passholder and guest must be present at the ticket window to receive their free daily lift ticket.

Silver and Bronze Pass holders can use their pass any day of the week during Bonus Days!

Timberline Mountain will open Thursday, December 5th! Come on out, hit the slopes from our backyard, then cozy up by the fire or relax in the slopeside hot tub! We have availability for opening weekend!

Get ready! We’re excited to share that Opening Day is set for Thursday, December 5th!

We had 35 hours total of snowmaking despite challenging conditions, and the much better snowmaking weather we’ve been expecting is almost here!

Beginning this weekend, snowmaking will return in full force. With the team putting all of our efforts into snowmaking, we’re looking forward to having tons of terrain and incredible conditions for Opening Day!

Winter is coming! C’mon in and cozy up!

Winter is on its way! The forecast in the coming days calls for 15-20 inches of snow, along with temperatures cold enough to begin snowmaking this afternoon!

This first big taste of winter is exciting, but we do not expect this snowfall and run of snowmaking to be enough to open this weekend.

The next few days will not have optimal snowmaking conditions. One of the many elements that factors into great snowmaking is humidity, which will be high due to the snow storm. This increases the wet bulb temperature, which is what our team monitors for snowmaking.

Conditions might not be perfect, but we’ll be still be taking full advantage of this snowmaking window. We’re also looking forward to better conditions that may be rolling in after Thanksgiving!

It’s too early to call an opening day just yet, but the season is just around the corner!

Testing and tuning our snowmaking system this morning at Timberline Mountain!

Winter has yet to fully set in, but early test runs of snowmaking like this allow us to fine tune our system after off-season improvements.

Opening day is yet to be determined, but we’re ready to take advantage of any snowmaking weather that comes our way!

Not only is every trail now open, but 48 hours of snowmaking and substantial snowfall have created some of the best conditions in the past few years! We may be experiencing some extremely low temperatures, but you don’t want to miss out on the mountain this week!
