I love when Facebook Memories reminds me of our past trips.

My parents took my sister and I to Universal Orlando Resort at the end of 2009. It was the last time my dad got to enjoy his favorite ride: Jaws. Every time I visit, I still send him a photo of the shark that remains posed in the San Francisco area.

As much as I miss some of the classic elements of the parks, it’s fun looking back and reliving them. Petition to bring back the Beetlejuice Graveyard R***e for Dark Universe?

While the end of a year is a time for celebration, it can bring a wide range of emotions.

Maybe you didn’t reach a goal you set out for yourself.

Maybe you didn’t relax or travel as much as you wished.

Maybe you felt stressed or sad a bit too often.

But looking back, I bet there were plenty of memories you’d like to hold onto.

Snuggles on the couch with your kids.

Watching a truly beautiful sunset.

Finally finishing that book you’d been meaning to read.

I love the new year like I love Mondays. It’s a fresh start in which we can take stock of what’s important to us and focus on the future.

So tonight, I challenge you to get a head start. Wish. Dream. Plan. Reflect on the past year and decide which lessons and moments you will carry with you going forward. Celebrate all that you’ve accomplished. Decide which experiences will be part of your story in 2025.

Some attractions are simply better at Disneyland Park than Magic Kingdom. “It’s a small world” is definitely one of them!

✨ The exterior of this ride is iconic, with a beautifully designed facade and fun topiaries.

✨ In addition to the classic dolls, you can spot favorite Disney characters throughout the continents.

✨ The holiday version of this ride goes ALL OUT for the season, with 50,000 lights, themed celebrations from different countries, and more.

Tip: While I love watching fireworks over Sleeping Beauty Castle, it’s also fun to watch the projections over in this area.

You can enjoy this version of the ride through January 6th!
