We live in a cozy home in Dayton, Ohio, with our two amazing kids and our dog. We've been working as a team for over six years (we've been married for over eight!), and we have photographed hundreds of weddings together, not to mention countless engagement sessions. We're passionate about creating jaw dropping images, but not at the expense of being real. People often describe our photos as "natur

al" and "authentic," and that couldn't be more of a compliment. Over the years we've learned how to read our couples, to communicate our vision, and to encourage real, emotional connections in front of the camera. We are available for travel throughout the state of Ohio and nationwide. Our passports are always valid, and we love to travel.

18 years!!

This has been a year of ups and downs and turnarounds. There have been more tears, laughter and a deep sense of gratitude more than ever this year. We have peeled back new layers and have great anticipation for the fruit that is to come from it. Through it all I know that our love is steadfast, filled with grace and a new sense of humility. Today and every day I still choose you .

May our marriage always be one that reflects the Divine Love that always protects, always trust, always hopes and always perseveres.

Engagement sessions can be whatever you want them to be. You can dress in your best, snuggled up at home in your coziest pants, on a kayak at your favorite lake or in the back booth of your go-to spot. We just ask that they be you!

Spending the evening wandering through Over the Rhine with Conner + Liz felt like we were hanging out in their own back yard. They were at ease, full of laughter and confidence. Living just down the road this park has become a go to place for them, and they had the stories to go with it. Dressed to the nines, we started with casual beers in Washing Park. Then to take it to the next level of them we then wandered over to Skyline to finish the evening off with one of their favorite causal meals.

After a handful of weddings of Young Life couples, we can truly say “there ain’t no party like a young life party”.

While their reception was already so full of family and friends, Tessa + Robbie wanted to find a way to invite many of the high schoolers they have come to cherish through working with Young Life into the evening . Around 8:00pm, this amazing group of high schoolers showed up to the reception and brought some big energy to the party. The celebration levels were back on top and the dance floor was literally jumpin’ for another 2 hours.

Were said it before but the legacy these two are creating for the sake of The Kingdom is inspiring. They are deeply beloved by all.

A ceremony centered around worship and adoration. This is how it should be. During Tessa + Robbie’s ceremony their pastor asked everyone who had been impacted by their involvement in Young Life to stand up. Nearly half the room did! What an amazing legacy to launch a marriage from. The Lord has clearly used Tessa + Robbie in the lives of many, we cannot wait to see what he does with their marriage!

And of course we joined in with the signing and all the happy tears at the end, how could we not?

The peaceful, steady joy is how we would describe the morning hours of Tessa + Robbie’s wedding day. There’s something that the coolness of Fall, quaint small towns with back country roads and comfort of getting ready in a family home that allows the day to start this way. Robbie + Tessa both spent their last moments before the ceremony having moments of prayer with their loved ones. We cannot imagine a better way to step into something so sacred and forever.

One of my favorite things on a wedding day is to observe all the love and devotion that flows through the day. From bridesmaids who completely adore the bride, groomsmen who are just as hyped as the groom, parents beaming with pride and joy as they walk down the aisle, ceremonies overflowing with guest from all parts of life, and cheers of celebration going well into the evening.

This was Hunter + Zac’s day. There’s no doubt these two are deeply loved by many.

We woke up this morning to a love note from Taylor + Greg. What a beautiful way to start the day, our hearts completely melted and we’re invigorated at the same time. Today is their 10th anniversary, so the fact that they took the time to write us a note says something about these two and the love the generosity and kindness that outpours from their hearts:

“What I didn’t fully realize until that day is that the best decision we made was working with you two. You made the day feel so natural. You knew our love for details and capturing our love for one another and our families!

I look back on our photos and can’t believe you guys were able to bring to life how that day felt to us. I can still see a picture and feel that very moment.

No words will ever express how grateful we are to you both. Thank you for having such a gift and somehow being available in our wedding day!”

We have photograph hundreds of weddings and many of them stick with us, but this couple and this wedding, is near the top. This day was full of so many bumps and pivots, generators went out, vendor mishaps happened and weather than went from warm to freezing in a matter of minutes. But it was perfect in so many other ways: the supportive love of family and friends, intentional personalized details, a room full of 400 that fell just as intimate as a date night for 2, and a couple so deeply in love to the point nothing else mattered. We can confidently look back and point to Taylor + Greg’s wedding as the day we really understood who WE were as photographers, and really informed how we approached every wedding the decade since!
