What’s the REAL Difference Between a three, four, and five-star hotel?
Let me break it down for you:

Three Caribbean islands you’ll LOVE other than Jamaica and Dominican Republic 👇

Jamaica gets a lot of love (and for good reason), but if you’ve been before and you’re ready to explore a little deeper to some of the smaller islands, here are three I’m currently planning trips to for clients:

🏝️ Saint Lucia – Think lush rainforests, dramatic volcanic peaks, and the iconic Pitons. This island is made for couples who want romance and adventure. You can hike Gros Piton for epic views, then cool off in a private plunge pool with the ocean as your backdrop. It’s the perfect mix of thrill and chill.

🏝️ Grenada – Sure, it’s called the Spice Isle, but Grenada is full of surprises. The underwater sculpture park? A total must for snorkelers and divers. And if you’re a foodie, you’ll love visiting a local chocolate estate or sipping rum straight from the source at a distillery. This island has flavor in every sense of the word.

🏝️ Barbados – Yes, the pink-sand beaches are dreamy, but there’s so much more to love here. From luxury catamaran cruises to secret coves only the locals know, this island nails that blend of elegance and authenticity. And let’s not forget—it gave us Rihanna. Enough said.

Every island in the Caribbean has its own unique experiences and if you ask me, that just means more excuses to book trips.

Mexico is so much more than Cancun!

One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is introducing my clients to new ways to explore and go beyond Cancun.

Isla Mujeres
🌴 Postcard-perfect beaches without the crowds

Just a 20-minute ferry ride from Cancun, Isla Mujeres feels like a hidden gem. Think crystal-clear water at Playa Norte, vibrant local charm, and epic snorkeling with colorful marine life. It’s a quiet escape where time slows down, and yes, you can still sip margaritas by the beach.

Holbox
🏝️ This tiny island feels like a secret slice of paradise.

Holbox is where I send clients who want untouched beauty and a slower pace. No cars, just sandy streets, boutique hotels, and flamingos casually hanging out on the shore. Plus, the bioluminescent waters at night? Total bucket list material.

Playa del Carmen
☀️A little more action, but with a local twist.

Playa del Carmen is all about variety. Stroll Quinta Avenida for vibrant restaurants and shops, or head to quieter beaches just outside the main area. I always recommend a day trip to Cozumel for incredible snorkeling or diving, it’s just a ferry ride away.

Since the age of 7 I have had a passion for travel. Received my first airline “wings” from TWA at age 8 (flying solo w/airline chaperone). At age 13 I took my first cruise and it is then that I realized I wanted to "see the world!" Whether it's a day trip along the coast to dreaming of my European vacation and Mediterranean escape, I realized my true passion is not only traveling but sharing my passion with others. I have had the opportunity to visit such areas such as Tortola and Antigua, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. John, San Juan, Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Key West, and Jamaica. I’ve also lived or have visited over a dozen states within the United States stretching from California to Vermont. I also seem to have a “BUCKET LIST” that seems to grow daily (which includes a 50th birthday celebration to London, Ireland, Belgium and Amsterdam).

I plan travel with one thing in mind... get the "most bang for your buck" and committed to helping my clients get the most value out of their vacation, from start to finish!

Most of my travel experience consists of a lot of cruising. I would not consider myself an expert by any means but I have "learned the ropes" over the years.
