Urgent Call for Donations: Support Burnsville, NC in the Aftermath of Hurricane Helene**

This past week, the small town of Burnsville, NC—home to just over 1,600 residents—has endured devastating destruction from Hurricane Helene. Many homes have been destroyed, families have been uprooted, and this community is in urgent need of assistance.

As search and rescue efforts continue and the cleanup begins, we are reaching out to you for your generosity. We are urgently requesting donations of essential supplies to support those affected by this disaster. Here’s how you can help:

**ITEMS NEEDED:**
- Water
- Paper products
- Baby food and formula
- Distilled water
- Diapers and pull-ups (children and adults)
- Feminine hygiene products
- Wipes
- Electrolytes (bottles and individual packets)
- Ensure
- Plastic totes and storage bags
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- Flashlights and batteries
- Trash bags
- Gas cans
- Canned goods (with pop-tops)
- Supplies for the elderly
- Pet supplies
- Prescription medications
- First aid kits
- CHAINSAWS ARE URGENTLY NEEDED!
- Generators
- Camp stoves
- Can openers

We are accepting donations immediately through Sunday, October 13th, 2024. Please consider contributing this week, as we strive to have supplies on their way South by Monday afternoon, October 14th, to those in dire need.
