Wow?! How did this happen? I have always had a passion for art and design; a love of beautiful things. My mother and maternal grandmother ran a design shop while I was growing up and my uncle, and his father before him, ran an upholstery shop. My paternal grandmother lived in a home decorated in beautiful fabrics and full of trinkets from all over the world. I was lucky to grow up in beautiful spaces and surrounded by creative people. Colordrunk Designs was established in 2013. While in hindsight it feels like interior design was my destiny, this all happened almost by accident. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a fashion degree, I worked for several years in the fashion industry, including a stint with Marc Jacobs in New York. Life eventually brought me back to Georgia, and after getting married and having my first child; we decided to buy a house. We didn’t just buy a house, though; we ripped one down and rebuilt it from the ground up. That experience was my design education by fire. Friends began approaching me for design help, and Colordrunk Designs was born! Known for my playful use of bold colors and patterns, I create bespoke spaces that are both beautiful and functional. My designs have been published in Better Homes and Gardens, HGTV Magazine, and Atlanta Magazine and have been seen on Sharktank and on the design reality show, Four Houses. . Further, as a young mother of two myself, designing for families, particularly those with young children, is a specific focus for me. I am currently working on projects throughout the Southeast but will travel if needed. Oh, and for those "color-phobes" out there, don't be shy about contacting me! I will try to cure you of your fear of color, but if I am not successful, I can promise you a beautiful design-in a palette you are comfortable with. I’m building or renovating a new home Help! There are so many decisions to make. Tile. Lighting. Paint. Wall coverings. Appliances. Cabinet Design. Room layouts. It can feel like the decisions never end! I can work closely with you and your contractor to help make these decisions, or maybe you just need me to hold your hand a little along the way? While this service can certainly become my “Full Design Service” (see below), at the building stage, it is more about helping you make decisions and creating a plan you can institute over several years in your new home. Now is the time, while your walls are bare and your rooms are empty, to institute a cohesive plan for your home. Email me, and we will figure out the vision you want for your new home. I just need help with paint Great! Color is kind of my thing. I offer paint consultations for $200 I need it all… FULL DESIGN SERVICE ATLANTA My full design service is for those in, or near, the metro Atlanta area (within a two hour drive). We will work closely together selecting everything you need/want for your dream space, and I will make it come to life. We begin with a one-hour consultation where I get to know you and your home. We will talk about everything you want or dream of for your space, and I will begin to formulate a plan to make it happen. Then you sit back, and I take the wheel! THIS SERVICE INCLUDES: -As many meetings as you need -Design Boards/Floor Plans -Paint/Fabric/Furniture selections/Accessories -Ordering and Shopping -Walkthroughs -Coordination with all other project contractors -Installation of all design elements -and whatever else you may need; I am at your service! FULL DESIGN SERVICE (OUTSIDE OF ATLANTA) Outside of the Atlanta area? No worries. I'd love to help you, too! Some of my all-time favorite projects have been out of state. If you need me to physically see the house, we will make that happen. Otherwise you still get all the great benefits of my full design service, but primarily through phone, email and snail mail. My Full Design Service is billed hourly. Please fill out the form or contact me for pricing. E-DESIGN What is E-design? It is an affordable way to get a jump-start on your room. Many of my clients have a great eye for design and know what they want, but just need a little help organizing their thoughts and cultivating and executing a final cohesive plan. With this service, we can take what you already own but freshen it up, or start completely from scratch. E-Design is much more simple than my full service design service. You will be the one placing orders, and seeing that the design comes to life. We will do it all by phone and email. I'll ask for a few photos, measurements and inspirational images, and after you fill out my questionnaire we should be ready to go! I will provide a comprehensive design concept for your space that includes: -Floor Plan -Design Board -Shopping List This services includes one revision. Additional revisions may be purchased. Rates vary by project.
