New Art Alert! Three new sculptures have entered the scene at Sam’s Crossing. Find these permanent, large-scale pieces just past the Avondale MARTA Station within the Publix shopping center.
"Dancing Figures" by Doug Kornfeld grabs attention with bold, dynamically posed figures in contrasting tableaus.
"Silver Lining I" by Sujin Lim brings a bit of whimsy with her internationally recognizable cloud-like figures. �
"Beat Hive" by local artist, Harry McDaniel, is strikingly reminiscent of a bee hive, crystal formation, or conga drums; give it a tap for some delightful musical discovery!

The Decatur Arts Festival is the place to be this weekend! Art in the streets, live music on the bandstand, dance classes, comedy, and theatre! 🎨 🎸🎭🎤

Journey to Clairemont Ave and you’ll see, a “wheely” great business downtown in the “D.” Come inside, browse around and remember the clue for a bright-painted D you can take home with you!
Right here in Oakhurst’s house full of green, I try to blend in but I’m easily seen. Keep a sharp eye through lush leaves and stems as you scan, if you spot D-shaped me, take me home in your hand!
