Today on Tina's Travels, I'm at the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives, which opens in its new location this week! At the Museum, you'll see a life-sized Major Audie Murphy, who is the most highly-decorated man in WWII and the Tuskeegee Airmen display. The museum has a new Spanish-American War display and also an expanded Naval exhibit. This museum is a must-see in Athens, and it draws visitors from all over the world! 🇺🇸

Today on Tina's Travels I'm at Helen Keller's birthplace in Tuscumbia! It's a beautiful place to visit and learn about the "First Lady of Courage"! Don't miss The Miracle Worker play that begins on June 11 and is every weekend through July 17. Also, the Helen Keller Festival is June 24-27 at Spring Park in Tuscumbia.

Today on Tina's Travels, I'm at the Palomino RV Resort at Burrow-Hamilton Farm, and this RV park is a full-service resort in north Alabama offering 50 sites with 20, 30, & 50 amp service. There's something to do here for everyone, including a Slippery Summit Aqua Park that kids and adults will enjoy! They also have buddy sites that campers will love.

Today on Tina’s Travels, I am in Spring Park located in Tuscumbia. A breathtaking centerpiece of Spring Park is a large 51-jet fountain that shoots water more than 150 feet into the air. Along with a beautiful man-made waterfall this is the perfect place to meet a friend for lunch, take a walk or just sit and feed the ducks.
