Welcome to Shepherds Bridge! We cherish this beautiful place we call home, we are situated on forty acres of natural beauty including our lake, barns, animals and peaceful places just to sit and enjoy. Here at Shepherd’s Bridge, there are plenty of places to walk or pull up a chair and just relax away from life’s everyday hustle and bustle. You can pull up a chair and watch the sunset, take a self
ie, laugh a little, or sit at the fire pit and roast some hot dogs or marshmallows. You can make memories in our private, big, foot-shaped, tranquil pond where we provide you a paddle boat (with life vests) to peddle out and watch the sunset, or make memories while sitting on the dock and catch some fish or just watch for turtles. There are plenty of chairs and ample space to sit around the lake or campfire and just enjoy the beauty, tranquility and peace with Mother Nature. Plant life and flowers abound. You will be surrounded by huge trees that give lots of shade in the hot summer and fall beauty. As a working farm, Shepherd’s Bridge provides chances to see tractors, hay wagons, a big old dump truck, and other farm implements not found in the city.
Our animals are a big attraction for families and little ones. You will find our alpacas, Dimples and Dewey which guard and protect our sheep, Turbo, Banjo, and Bruno. You will find lots of chickens, collectively known as “Chickies”. The chicken coop is a rustic little house with a front porch which provides a perfect for a backdrop for photos. All of our animals share the same barn and get along great. You might even find the chickens trying to ride on Dimples, our alpaca’s back. It is entertaining to watch these animals interact. Rest assured, our animals are friendly with children!
In our barn, you will find fresh hay stacked for our animals’ winter food while the smells on the farm remind you this is not the city. Come and relax by the Shepherd’s Bridge over our stream surrounded by greenery. You will be able to smell the flowers scattered throughout the property which bring color and beauty. We take pride in our raised gardens that have fresh fruits and vegetables and even more flowers! We grow Sh*take mushrooms which bloom on log tepees leaning against pine trees. At Shepherd’s Bridge you will find four different and fun swings to provide relaxation for kids of all ages.. The dinner bell reminds you it’s meal time!
Our Farm is for everyone’s enjoyment. We love seeing friends and families enjoying themselves. We provide a perfect venue retreats, field trips, and photography to visitors from around the world. Our heated, indoor pavilion provides as place for small gatherings and meetings with seating for about thirty people.
