I’ve traveled through 136 countries and get asked what countries are my FAVORITE, and below are the most remote, unique or unusual I’ve seen.
Here are my #1 - #10, with short comments…
Cuba Kirk’s Top Countries he’s seen in the World:
1. Kenya, safari=animals, Mt. Kenya/Kilimanjaro!
2. Brazil-Rio is most beautiful big city worldwide.
3. Oz-Sydney is most beautiful harbor in world!
4. South Africa-Capetown beauty, wine, animals!
5. Cuba (tour it with me) cars, ci**rs #1 people❤️
6. Switzerland, #1 mountain/lake beauty, yodel.
7. Sweden in Summer! Stockholm golf/boating
8. Seychelles, most beautiful islands in the world
9. Galápagos, swim with iguanas, fishing is #1
10. Thailand, elephants-Thai food are my favs #1
10b-Germany: Heidelberg is my BEAUTIFUL college town, that I lived in for a year! Oktoberfest too🍻
Remote Places I’ve been, in no particular order:
Albania, around Lake Ohrid, a night in Pogradec
American Samoa, distant, smell of tuna fish!
Antarctica, penguins, LONG icebergs, no one
Andorra, look it up, ski area, growing = jobs.
Barbados, beauty beaches, nice people, rum!
Bolivia-La Paz, ski at 13,000’ in summer. Hats!
Botswana, ride a mokoro in Okavango Delta
Easter Island(Rapa Nui) 887 moai, wild horses
Estonia-Tallinn’s square has #1 pastel buildings
Falkland Islands, Argentina/UK? UK pubs!
French Guiana-Devil’s Island “jail” = Papillion 
Iceland-Reykjavík geysers. Golf 24hrs-summer
Israel-Tel Aviv=$ Jerusalem=history Eilat=relax
Kosovo, day trip from North Macedonia or not
Machu Picchu-lost ruins. Beauty train ride!
Madagascar, an island off Africa. Cute lemurs
Montenegro, by Dubrovnik on Adriatic. #1 is Kotor Morocco, overnight with the Berber nomads
Namibia, ski sand dunes. See Swakupmund! 
North Macedonia. Good people in fun Skopje
Oman-Muscat, a 747 fits in Al Bustan’s lobby
Palestine, is a sovereign State (of unrest!)🙏🏻
Portugal, rated #1 for Expats to retire. Agree!
Russia-St. Petersburg beats Moscow & Putin!
Saint Helena, take a cruise ship. I did twice.
Senegal-Gore Island off coast. Buy a bongo:)
Somalia, go from historic Lamu Kenya. Beaches
Syria, wasn’t a war zone when I went. Danger!
Tanzania, Mt. Kilimanjaro is here. Snow capped
Taiwan consists of 168 islands. China wants it!
Tasmania-windy! Suggest seeing Perth instead
Trinidad, the Steel Drum Festival is famous #1
Uruguay-Punta del Este town is #1. BBQ too!
Ushuaia-ARG, cruises to Antarctica from here
Vietnam, Hoi An was my fav in 2000. Hue too
Zambia, bungee jump. Livingstone has hotel$
Zanzibar, ancient island-22 miles off Tanzania
Zimbabwe, raft the Zambezi, #1 in world! I did

Nicaragua for beaches, surf, and retire lol

Timbuktu, it’s real. Find it in Africa. Cool huts

India-Goa to practice meu Portuguese-sim
Sri Lanka for gemstones I know a lot about!
IF I stay 1-2 nights, my BARE minimum in a
country, the above will get me to 154 countries I’ve traveled through. Who’s up for fun times?

PS, the only 4-States I haven’t been to are Alaska, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, so I’m saving them for later in life! Suggestions?
