It’s getting to that time of year where people become overly rude to me about Chippy being outdoors. So here we go:
- Chippy knows how to get home (and does) when he’s too cold.
- There is a heated cat house on my porch.
- The days that I know the temperature will get too low, we go pick him up.
- He has friends who willingly let him stay over.

We go through this every year where I get attacked, accused and called a bad cat mom. That boy does not care what the weather is, he loves the outdoors. I have had others claim they can “keep him indoors” and “make him an indoor cat” or “give him a better home”, and I have let them try. It all ends with the same outcome. Chippy will p**s, poo and destroy everything he can if he is kept in against his will and will get out anyways.

I know the dangers of having an outdoor cat. I know the outcome may end badly. But I will NOT make Chippys life miserable by forcing him to stay indoors. He loves the outdoors and he loves this community.

And if you have something negative to say, people message me privately. Just know that I work 5 days a week and having nursing classes 3 nights a week. I am trying my best.

Mr Chippys AirTag has fallen off again.. We have searched the area the past 3 days, kicking up leaves and trying to get close enough for the alert to sound, with no luck.. Its range keeps moving between 150 N Franklin and 17 Griswold.. If everyone in that area could keep an eye out I would appreciate it ❤️

The staff at COVE Pet Vet were thrilled to see Chippy today when he needed some eye ointment! He’s always treated like a celebrity here and I’m told Sam was star struck to meet our infamous boy 🤩❤️

Our little escape artist has lost his AirTag again.. the kids and I were able to connect to it in front of 17 Griswold st but weren’t able to hear the noise it makes.. the AirTag would not connect if we moved a house over or crossed the street which means it is in the vicinity of 17 Griswold.. we will try again tonight when it’s a little quieter outside but if our Griswold friends could keep an eye out that would be great

HAPPY GOT YA DAY CHIPPY 🩷

5 years ago today Chippy and his brother hopped into our car and chose us to be his family…. And now he’s part of the community 🥰 (his brother went to a friend of ours ☺️)

It has come to my attention that Chippys AirTag and collar has fallen off. This is roughly the location it is showing. Chippy is accounted for at the Hayes Building for the moment. But if anyone near the pictured area could please check around I would appreciate it! 🩷

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve posted.. Chippy has been hanging around with his friends on Griswold st a lot lately.. he visited the Hayes building today and stopped home to visit his sister (Mittens) and his human (Weston) 🩷

OUR BOY IS HOME ❤️

Thank you all soooooo much! The family that had him took good care of him and reached out to me once they noticed a change in their cats personality 🤭 It was an honest mistake because their cat is identical to Chippy! 😆

Can everyone please keep your eyes open for Chippys sister, Wednesday… She normally goes outside to potty then comes right back in when we call for her but we haven’t seen her all weekend 😞 My daughter is heartbroken

Tina Loudermilk, it’s not letting me respond to your message but Chippy does appear to be okay! His location still shows he’s at the Hayes Building. If someone on here wants to confirm that would be great.. I know my kids played with him last night 😊

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for Chippy over the past few months

Unfortunately he was knocked out of the competition this week.. I personally think it’s unfair that you can “buy” votes but whatever, we all know our boy is number one in town with all his friends ❤️ Thank you all! 👏

Chippy will be spending the next week or so in the house while he recovers..

Those that saw him today know he had a hurt leg.. The vet said he was possibly bit by something and had an abscess.. he was given an antibiotic shot and some pain meds.. the kids are giving him lots of attention and cuddles while he rests ❤️ Thank you all for your concern for our boy! ☺️ He will be back out soon!

UPDATE: Chippy came in second place for his group which means he is in the wildcard round.. These are all second placers from all the groups.. Chippy has 2 days to come in first to compete with the winners of all the groups (This competition has a lot of rounds 😅)
I just want everyone to know that I am NOT asking for you to donate money to give him more votes, I simply just ask for the one free vote per day from you guys. I appreciate all the love and support for our boy ❤️
