Had a great time on Poverty Point yesterday. Had my first fisherman from Wisconsin, Todd Petersen and his friend Russell Morris. Caught some crappie, catfish and some big hybrid st*****rs. I really enjoyed fishing with them and made some great friends also. Thank y’all for fishing with Swamp Donkey Charters.

Took Mike Bailey and his two sons to Poverty Point today and they had a blast. Caught a pile of catfish, some crappie and hybrid st*****rs. Mike wanted his kids to catch fish didn’t matter what and we did. I really enjoyed fishing with them. I think we will be friends for now on. Thanks Mike y’all are welcome anytime!!!!

Went to Poverty Point today and caught a few nice fish. Water temp was 54 degrees still to cold but should start warming up next week with temperatures rising and the bite will get a lot better. Fished with Donkey Catcher jigs today, custom jigs and colors we have not seen on the market. They are rubber jigs and they last and they catch fish. So message Swamp Donkey Charters/La. and get yours ordered today. I will be posting all the colors soon. Get your trip booked now because it’s fixing to be on like Donkey Kong.

I haven’t made a post in a couple of weeks now but the weather has been so bad with rain,wind and temperatures I haven’t been fishing. But when I start posting again it’s time to book your trip. Took some great guys fishing today. Caught a good mess of crappie but overall a slow day on Poverty Point. Weather just want get right but it’s right around the corner the bite will be on. Again fished with three really great guys today and also met new friends. So get your trip booked and let’s go fishing. It’s going to only get better!!!!

Went fishing today on Poverty Point. The bite was slow but managed to catch a few fish. Caught some really nice hybrid st*****rs. This temperature change and a lot of rain has made it more difficult. I managed to catch a good miss of fish. I have not posted a lot lately because the weather has been terrible. But I promise the fishing will get better. I want to thank everyone for following Swamp Donkey Charters. When the fishing gets better you will know. I want everyone that’s fishing with me to catch fish.

Took a young man and his dad fishing today on Poverty Point Reservoir. Talon caught his first fish on the lake after fishing for 3 days. Nothing better than a young man that likes fishing. It was really a tough day. Rained about 3 inches last night, cold front coming in and lake was white capping. Tough day but really glad Talon caught him a crappie!!!! It was cold but he hung in with me. We will catch a bunch next time Talon. I really enjoy meeting good people. Thanks for fishing with me. Terry

Made an afternoon trip to Poverty Point Reservoir today an caught another limit of beautiful crappie, big fish was 2.20 pounds. Call and book a trip with me and let’s go catch some slabs. Call 3186804884

Had another great day on the lake today, caught my limit. Quality of crappie are getting better also. I’m just trying to get my business started and I know I can show everyone a great time. I’m a country boy and know how to fish. So let’s go fishing!!!!!!
