Brought home some meat today with Brian and Joey. Struggled this morning with the big fish bite. Switched over to the umbrella gear and got these guys some fish to take home and a few released along the way. Thank you guys!

Merry Christmas to you all! We had an action filled day out there yesterday. I had Bill and one of his sons for a first time trip with me. We had 21 bites bringing 7 on the boat ranging from 38-42.5” quick releases. We had a few pull the hook deep into the fights, another one come off boat side and one broke off while we were tripled up. Happy faces and a nice smooth ride home to end the day. Started out a little nautical today with a last minute rally to get on some fish. We even had a sea sick and recovery. I fished late for Matt and crew. Got our last bite with the last line in the water! Unbelievable amount of bait out there today miles and miles and miles. Unreal! Back to it tomorrow.

Big fish have finally shown up. Took a fun trip today and did some exploring. I had 4 bites and got one to the boat. A quick double hookup and pull off had us excited. Only two dates left in December. Plenty of open dates for January. They will still be here since they have shown up so late. Call or text 804-436-7147

Remaining dates for December. The water temperatures have finally dropped to where we can get some rockfish to show up! I see several pretty days coming up in the long term forecast. What a nice Saturday morning catch! Caught and released a lot of undersize specks puppy drum rockfish to keep Shawn and the boys busy. They were able to manage some quality specks and some blues for some good table fair! Great crew good trip could not ask for more. Thanks guys. I have some openings for inshore trips.

First Cobia trip I’ve run in awhile. Made the big run down the bay to look for them on top. Took a little while to find some. I had told Rich and his crew to be patient and it paid off. They popped up and it was a hot bite for the afternoon. Multiple double hookups and had to w**d through mostly barely short fish to find our two keepers. Biggest pod I seen was over 100 fish together. Thank you Rich and crew for coming back again this year.

Pulled a dual trip with the guys from Absolute Tree Service. Flat calm conditions to run down the bay today. Did not take long to get on some fish seeing packs of 30 plus fish. We went 7 for 12 bringing home my two keepers and released the others. Pulled the hook on a giant after seeing several together. Added a pile of mackerel and bluefish as well. The other boat brought home a single keeper and a few releases and pull offs. Thank you Absolute Tree for the continued support! Pics from last couple trips added as well. Another fun filled day on the bay! Dan called me on Wednesday and booked a full day. Took the advantage of a full day trip and ran down to the bay bridge tunnel and found a few Cobia on top. Caught our Limit and some before lunchtime and picked up a citation release on the ride back to Deltaville. Most of August is open call or text 804-436-7147

Great day out on the bay today with Joshua and family. Caught some Mack’s till they got the amount they wanted and moved on to the Cobia. A little slow to start, but a small red drum pod showing got the sight fishing off to a solid start. 50” release! Made a nice haul today for Corbett and his crew in some sporty middle bay conditions. Seen a lot of Cobia on top and not many were hungry. Managed to get one to cooperate. Lots of meat and a happy crew went home with smiles on their faces. Kudos to them for sticking it out in the rough weather. Back at it again tomorrow. I have a bunch of open dates coming up.
