✨Animal Kingdom Lodge is a deluxe resort. You will get deluxe perks such as daily housekeeping, more dining options, early park entry, extended evening hours, larger pools with hot tubs and waterslides to name a few
✨While I would highly recommend the savanna view room, you can still enjoy this resort just as much with a standard view room. The are plenty of areas to view the animals! You can also request a standard room with an obstructed savanna view but there is no guarantee

🚨Breaking Disney news! Genie+ is ending on July 24, but paid Lightning Lanes are staying. Here’s what’s changing at Walt Disney World:
• Genie+ Lightning Lanes will now be called Multi Pass, and Individual Lightning Lanes will be called Single Pass.
• Disney resort hotel guests and select hotel guests can book 3 Multi Pass Lightning Lane selections 7 days in advance for one park per day, for the length of their stay. Other guests can book their 3 Multi Pass selections 3 days before their visit.
• Multi Pass rides will be divided into tiered groups (except at Animal Kingdom). You can book one ride from the top tier and 2 (or all 3) from the second tier when making your initial selections. You can choose your ride return times from available slots. This is similar to the old FastPass+ system.
• Single Pass Lightning Lanes can be purchased 7 days in advance for resort guests and 3 days in advance for everyone else. You can buy up to 2 Single Passes per park day.
• On the day of your visit, you can book your next Multi Pass Lightning Lane (at any park) after you’ve scanned in for your first one. You can hold up to 3 Multi Pass Lightning Lanes at a time.
• You can choose to buy Multi Pass, Single Pass, neither, or both. You won’t pay until you’ve selected your rides and return times, so you can decide not to purchase if you’re unhappy with the selections.
At Disneyland:
• The names are changing from Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes to Multi Pass and Single Pass, but everything else will stay the same.

👉🏻My Disney Experience (MDE) App - This is the MUST have app where you can make plans, purchase Genie+, select lightning lanes, view maps, wait times, access photos, and LOTS more.
👉🏻Genie - a free service in MDE that gives
recommendations to help your day at the parks.
👉🏻Genie Plus - a paid service in MDE that is needed to book Lightning Lanes. You must purchase this service in MDE each day you visit if you plan to use LL that day. You can choose one park or multiple parks if you park hop.
👉🏻Standby Line - This is the “normal” line for an attraction or character meet and the wait time for this line is shown in MDE. Everyone in the park can join the standby line.
👉🏻Lightning Lane (LL) - LL is a separate, much shorter, line for an attraction. To use a LL entrance, you must purchase Genie+ for the day AND reserve a specific LL time for each ride, show, or character that you want. Reservations are made in MDE every 2 hours OR once you have used your previous LL, whichever comes first.
👉🏻Individual Lightning Lane (ILL) - ILL is also a short line for an attraction but it is not included in Genie+. These are typically for the most popular ride in each park where LL is not offered and do NOT require you to have Genie+. Instead, you purchase an ILL in MDE for the specific ride you want while selecting a return time that meets your schedule.
👉🏻Virtual Queue (VQ) - The VQ system is for rides that do not have a standby line. VQ is FREE to join. You must join the VQ in MDE at 7am or 1pm to get a Boarding Group. The only rides that offer virtual queue are Tron in Magic Kingdom, Guardians of the Galaxy in Epcot, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom (starting June 28).
👉🏻Boarding Group (BG) - You are assigned a BG when you join a VQ. The lower the number, th
