🏰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎉 A big family Walt Disney World trip means big fun, but finding the perfect place to stay can feel tricky. Luckily, Disney has options for every budget and need. Let’s break it down:

✨ Deluxe Villas: For luxury, amenities, and park proximity, Disney Vacation Club villas offer 1, 2, and 3-bedroom options with full kitchens and laundry 🧺. Some are even within walking distance of the parks 🚶‍♂️🎢, making them a magical home-away-from-home!Anyone can book stays in these, DVC membership not required!

💸 Value Resort Family Suites: If budget is the priority, check out Art of Animation and All-Star Music family suites. They sleep 6, have 2 full bathrooms, 3 sleeping surfaces, a kitchenette, and a living area. Affordable, fun, and perfect for families!

🛏️ Multiple Standard Rooms: If you are happy with 2 queen beds (sometimes these sleep 5 with a child-sized bed) and 1 bathroom, then you can stay basically anywhere. Book however many rooms you need, and I’ll even make sure to let Disney know that you are all traveling together to try and get the rooms as close together as possible. ✨

🐻🦊🐰💦 Change is hard, especially when it comes to saying goodbye to a classic like Splash Mountain. But let me tell you, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure 🌿👑 has been beautifully reimagined and still has the thrilling drops ⬇️, twists 🔄, splashes, and log flume you loved—oh yeah, you’re still GOING DOWN! Only this time, it’s down the bayou. 🎶

🎷🎵And if you liked the movie, especially the music, you’re going to love this update! 🎉

As far as the “story,” it’s a sweet one that celebrates community, resilience, and happiness 😄. Add to that glowing fireflies ✨🐞, amazing animatronics, and a fantastic soundtrack, and you may just have a new family favorite! ❤️🏰

🫤If you’re still feeling a pang of sadness over losing the beloved pals of the Briar Patch, eat your feelings with a batch of sugar dusted beignets and go take a ride down the bayou the next chance you get. You may just be pleasantly surprised! TIP: Look for subtle nods to Splash Mountain in the standby queue and inside Critter Co-Op. 🛍️

They’re booked through the Lyft app and priced a bit higher than standard rides, but the perks can make them worth it.

🏨 Resort to Resort: Dining at a different resort? Since Disney buses don’t run resort to resort, Minnie Vans save you from multi-step transfers and wasted time. 🕒

Blizzard Beach is BACK—and better than ever!

❄️ Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened, and it’s had some magical upgrades! 🏖️✨ If you’ve been thinking about using that free water park day perk 🆓 on your check-in day instead of hitting the resort pool, what’s new might tip the scales in the water park’s favor, especially if you’re traveling with little “Frozen” fans! 👧❄️

🌊 The Tykes Peak kid-friendly splash area now features “Frozen”-themed touches with Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. ⛄ Just think of the photos! 📸 Plus, they’ve added some new sweet and savory menu items that may give the sand pail ice cream sundae a run for its money. 🍨

⛳ Add to that being able to walk over to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course 🏌️‍♀️ to use the Magical Extra free round of mini golf voucher, and that’s a whole lotta fun on Disney’s dime! 💸🎉

⏳💰Now, let’s get real: I’m all about being strategic with your time and money. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, save your snack credits and use them at the Food Studios. It’s a great use of your plan! Or if you’re paying cash, do yourself (and your bank account) a favor and get a gift card for the amount of money you are budgeting for food and drink. It’s WAY too easy to keep swiping 💳 and eating without regard for what you’re spending. I may or may not be speaking from experience here. 😅

🦒🤩🐅Jambo! If you are a lover of animals , Disney tours, or just want to try something new, Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom is full of thrills, fun, and good eats! This isn’t something you can just show up and enjoy, so here is what you need to “know before you go”:

👤 Who: Guests must be at least 8 years old, between 45-300 pounds ⚖️ (everyone gets weighed beforehand), and at least 48 inches tall. Under 18? Bring an adult!

💰 Price and Times: The tour costs $219-$229 per person and typically runs at 8:45am, 10:15am, and 11:45am daily. Pro tip: Book the earliest slot to avoid the heat ☀️—it’s a 3-hour outdoor adventure! 🌿

🎢 Activities: You’ll explore Animal Kingdom’s habitats, dine on the savanna, and cross two bridges (over a crocodile habitat! 🐊). It’s safe, thrilling, and totally unforgettable. ✨

🎁 Extras: The “snack” included is more like a meal 🍤🥪, with items like tandoori shrimp, chicken wraps, fruit, and sweet treats. You’ll also get professional photos 📸 from your guide, plus a souvenir reusable water bottle to take home! 🎉

🚀 Fifty years ago, Space Mountain launched guests into the cosmos for the very first time, and it’s still one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World. ✨ (Check out that pic of the first ride vehicle from the Disneyland attraction! 🛸)

Despite all the shiny new additions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, this classic continues to draw crowds and long wait times. It’s had a couple of refreshes over the years, but nothing monumental.

So here’s the big question: Does Space Mountain need a change?

🤔 Should it get a major refurb to bring it up to today’s standards? ❓ Is it time to retire this beloved classic and make way for something brand new? 💫 Or do we leave it exactly as it is—a nostalgic staple of Tomorrowland?

I do love Space Mountain but have serious PTSD from having lost my phone on that ride 😅 (and don’t ask me why my tongue is out in this pic 😂)

Here’s how to use it: 1️⃣ Check with the Cast Member at the entrance of the ride to see if Rider Switch is available. 2️⃣ The first group rides while one adult stays back with the non-rider(s). 3️⃣ When the first group is done, the waiting adult (and up to 2 additional riders) gets to skip the regular line and ride without waiting all over again! 1️⃣Check your Disney app - Make sure your My Disney Experience app is updated, have your credit card set up under payment info, check the park hours for your park days, and make sure all reservations are linked to your account 2️⃣Plan your outfits - pack weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes (at least 2 pairs!). It’s easy to put kids’ outfits for each day in a ziploc bag! Don’t forget things like pochos, umbrellas, sunscreen, etc., those things are much more expensive if you have to buy them at the parks! 3️⃣Prep your tech - make sure your magic bands, portable phone chargers, handheld fans, etc are charged and ready to go! Download games/videos to kiddos’ devices for the car ride or for in-flight (don’t soley rely on airplane wifi) 4️⃣Make a grocery list - if you are having groceries delivered, do this beforehand so you won’t have to think about what you need. Add your resort’s address in case it’s needed when ordering 5️⃣Check in - if you want to, check in via the app (you don’t have to, you can always check in at the front desk) and put in any room/building requests. This is something, as your Disney travel expert, I am able give recommendations for and do so beforehand on your behalf! 6️⃣Document reservations - I recommend screenshotting or printing copies of any resort, dining, or park (for Disneyland) reservations. You never know if/when the app may be acting up 7️⃣Have transportation lined up - if you are flying and need transportation from the airport to hotel, make sure that is lined up (this is something I also help with 🙋🏼‍♀️) 8️⃣Get cash - have some smaller bills handy for tipping drivers, bell services (if necessary), housekeeping, etc 9️⃣Prep for a clean home - this may be a personal preference, but having things squared away at home (clothes washed, dish washer emptied, trash bags changed, etc) will be so much nicer than coming home to a messy house 🔟Get excite
