Play Pirate (ifna ye choose!) We have it all aboard the Rose! Filed trip educate kids and adults alike. The Compass Rose is an 1800's replica Brigantine Ship. Think Pirates of the Caribbean. We do everything from Private Sail Excursions of 2-10 people to weddings. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday we offer tours of the ship for just $10.00 for adults $5.00 for children. Team Building and Field Trips are

some of the education offered aboard "the Rose" as the Odom's are excited about sharing and preserving the history of sailing.

It’s been many a moon since there’s been a post here. I’ve been receiving all kinds of new pieces and parts! Things like new stanchions and a new job boom and bowsprit! Still in the thick of it but if you happen by say hi to me owners and give’em a wee dram o’ grog as they be Slavin’ away on me topsides!

There’s a major overhaul happening to the Compass Rose in case you are keeping up with her. The last two years were rough! First the mast incident and then with flooding and Covid no work happened. That is never good with a wooden ship. So she’s getting lots of TLC at the moment!
