We ended up replacing our couch with a sectional! We wanted to make our living room space more comfortable to watch a movie on a rainy day or at night. The last picture of our previous set up. We are going to put that couch in the camper we are remodeling.

Our cabin has been booked all summer, but we were able to get out there and enjoy a day in between bookings.

We’ve owned the property since 2019 and this was the first we were out on the lake (we’ve never owned a boat)! 😆

Ice out was on Thursday, May 4th! We still had ice in front in the morning, but the dock was able to go in by the afternoon. Bring on summer! ☀️

Winter views from the cabin!

We saw on a nearby lake where someone had plowed a 2.5 mile long ice skating path on the lake. It looked so fun! We would love to do that someday. We are excited to get back out to the cabin and shovel a skating rink! ❄️⛸️

It’s really dark (and kind of scary) at the cabin at night, so we hung some string lights to light a pathway to the fire pit.

The rest of our patio furniture has arrived! One side of the patio is for lounging and relaxing, and the other side is for dining and grilling.

Big news! We are LIVE on Airbnb!

In August, it’ll be 2 years since we started this process! So it’s great to finally get to this point.😅

Currently, our calendar is open starting August 1, but we plan to add some July dates as we get everything finished. We will be adding VRBO soon.

We got our beds set up! The mattresses are from and are more comfortable than our bed at home! We have 2 king beds and 2 sets of bunks. The king beds have hybrid mattresses- one is a medium firm and one is a medium soft.💤
