First, admire the beautiful works of art by JCC community members Nancy Alterman, Neil Alterman(z"l), and Tracy Wall at the Art Exhibit from 4:30 - 6:30 PM in the Mizel Reception Room. Stunning paintings, drawings and more available for purchase, with half of the proceeds donated back to the Mizel Arts and Culture Center. This event is free and open to all.
At 6:45 PM, come see the exclusive screening of "Join or Die" in the Elaine Wolf Theatre, presented in partnership with Moving To Our Center (MTOC). The documentary explores the decline in civic participation in America, inspired by Robert Putnam’s research. After the film, author and speaker Debra Fine will lead a dynamic discussion on ways to enhance community engagement.
