I believe there can be many right ways to do the same thing. Different isn’t always wrong.
Despite my best efforts, kids over the years have made sure I know when I’m not doing it like their parents. 😆
I have indeed made mistakes like (but not limited to) cutting food wrong, warming up food wrong, cooling down food wrong, helping someone get dressed wrong or in the wrong order, getting the wrong amount of treats, playing the game wrong, racing wrong, holding hands wrong, buckling wrong and on and on. I also cannot control the weather or the temperature in public places which is also 👎 🤷♀️
I’m nothing if not adaptable. I will always and forever not do it the same as mom and dad. I will also always hold space for patience and compassion. I will try again and try my best. I will apologize and ask for help.
Heres to trying to tip the scales in favor of securing more rights than wrongs and being more like flowing water than like a brick wall.
One big adventure to Royal Gorge Bridge. It’s the worlds most scary-ish according to 3 kids 😳, and according to records the highest suspension bridge is the U.S. #adventuresinCO #nannythings #adventuretime #exploremore
