If you love to help others, curious about other cultures, want your children to have a friend from another country, and be exposed to a foreign language, then hosting a student for a temporary stay should be your next big adventure this summer!!

Compass USA is URGENTLY looking for welcoming families in and around the Denver area to give a French teenager (ages 14-16) a spot in your family and a place at your table for 3 weeks this summer from June 17 – July 8- Not to mention, a lifelong friendship! We still have 11 students that need a family to open their home and hearts!!! Several have been waiting almost three years to come to Colorado!

Who can be a host family?
• A couple with or without children
• A single parent with at least one child living in the home
• English must be the primary language spoken in the home
• Each student must have his/her own bed in a private room. A fold out couch, blow-up bed or futon that is comfortable and can be kept as a bed at all times is OKAY! Can share a room with same sex/similar age host sibling.
• A family must be willing to share meals.
• A family must be warm and giving-willing to spend time with their student

15 French Boys & Girls are coming to our community June 17 – July 8. We urgently need volunteer host families to open their hearts and homes.

Enjoy a French Staycation. Have fun and make new friends. Great volunteer experience for the whole family! You are welcome to join us when we visit downtown Denver and Water World.

After COVID-19, it has been extremely difficult to get restarted. We urgently need interested volunteers to host our students. Our students are 14-16 years old. Several have been waiting almost three years to come to Colorado!

We still have 11 students that need a home for their 3 week stay!!!

Charlotte – 16-year-old girl – She practices sports, dancing, and piano. She cannot wait to discover the American way of life and believes this trip will enrich her personal development. Charlotte is excited to be very helpful to her host family.

Victor – 16-year-old boy – He is very interested in learning about American culture and the United States. He loves to play basketball, rugby, and video games in his free time, and loves different types of cars. Victor cannot wait to improve his English.

Noe – 15-year-old boy – He loves sports and videogames. He also loves soccer, biking, and traveling. He likes to spend a lot of time with his friends and family. Noe wants to help his host family with chores and spend time with children his age!

Julia – 16-year-old girl – She cannot wait to live an American lifestyle and learn the difference between her own culture, and the American culture. She loves playing cards, debating about different topics, and spending time with her family. Julia helps her own family with chores, and is excited to help her host family!

Arsène – 15-year-old boy – He is a sport-oriented student who enjoys soccer, tennis, badminton, and cycling. He also loves to spend time with his family doing activities such as, board games, movie nights, and trips. Arsène is excited to share his experiences and culture with you!

Clemence – 15-year-old girl – She is excited to discover the American way of life. She loves horse-back riding, shopping, museums, and socializing with friends. Clemence also loves to learn, as her studies are very important to her. She cannot wait to meet her American family!

Lindsay – 15-year-old girl – She enjoys sports, meeting new people, and shopping. She loves listening to pop music and loves animals. Lindsay is very excited to discover new traditions and places with her American family!

Clara – 16-year-old girl – ready to discover the habits of an American family and make new friends! She appreciates doing activities with others such as, shopping, going to the movies, and museums. Clara also loves going for walks with her dog and cooking. She is so excited to learn American culture and make new friends for life!

Armance – 15-year-old girl – She enjoys spending time with her friends, going to the movies, and walking in Paris. She also engages in activities such as, skiing, biking, swimming, and table tennis. She looks forward to meeting her host family!

Antonin – 15-year-old boy – He excited to discover the American way of life and improve his English. He participates in soccer, tennis, and basketball. He also loves traveling and has been to many countries. Antonin looks forward to meeting his host family!

Victoria – 15-year-old girl – She enjoys gymnastics, violet classes, hanging out with her friends, shopping, and eating. She aspires to be a dentist when she is older. Victoria cannot wait to make new American friends and discover the American lifestyle!

Compass USA started promoting programs that build intercultural understanding in 2000. Our homestay program helps foster strong leadership skills and English language acquisition. Our staff works as a team to provide quality programs throughout the country. Compass USA homestay and cultural experiences surpass typical vacations or tours. Participants learn to look beyond language, color and customs to discover the true character of others: a process that Compass USA believes will bring people of the world closer together one student at a time.
