I can't believe I missed it Wednesday and Thursday of this week!
What, you ask?
20 years ago on the 15th and 16th of January, the very first NAHBS took place in Houston!

A lot has happened in the last few years. I will post again very soon, I promise.

In the meantime, just know I miss and love you all!

Dear Friends,

It pains me beyond words to have to say this, but due to the unexpectedly low number
of commitments to attend from exhibitors, we are forced to reschedule this year’s show. While
this lack of support is disappointing, we understand that exponentially rising costs, travel
uncertainties, supply chain challenges and pandemic fears may have contributed to these
business decisions. Whatever the reasons, we cannot escape the conclusion that this year it is
commercially impossible to present the kind of show that you are used to and have come to
expect from us.

We waited as long we reasonably could before making this difficult call in hopes that more
exhibitors would decide to attend. Because that has not happened and due to our own financial
commitments to the venue, we have no other choice but to reschedule. We plan to return to
Denver in 2023 with a show designed for our rapidly changing industry.

If you are among the exhibitors that committed to attend this year’s show, you have my deep
appreciation and gratitude.

On a more personal note, some of you know that I recently had a diagnosis for a new cardio-vascular issue. I expect to make a full recovery, but it
may take me a little time to get back to business as usual. I appreciate your understanding and
patience during these challenging times and I look forward to working with you again soon.

Well, we're finally coming out deep space hibernation and I'm happy to report that I survived a 2nd bout with the Rona. 2021 sucked, but hey, at least we're alive.

I've noticed a box in the corner and it has about 45 NAHBS Dallas jerseys in it. Since its the show that never happened, these are now a "collectors edition" jersey. Show your friends you were there, even though we both know you weren't.

Made by our good friends at TexMarket, these kits fit like a jersey should and you should grab em, because when they are gone, they are gone. Limited number available.

Sorry to disappoint some of you, but I'm still around.

As many of you may know, I made a major move from Kentucky to Georgia, battled Covid and some long term symptoms. I'm back on my bike and working towards a healthy future.
All that said, I realize I've been quiet, but a lot has been going on behind the scenes and I am super excited about the news I'll report next week.

Thanks to those who have supported me during this difficult period of the pandemic.
