Back to School Beautification
It's almost time for students to return to school and we want to make sure the Manual campus is sparkling. We are holding a Back to School Beautification on Thursday, August 15 4-6pm at the main entrance. We'll focus on the outdoor areas by spreading mulch, caring for the gardens, and picking up trash. If this date doesn't work for you, please consider volunteering to do some interior painting on your own time, prior to the start of school on August 19th. Encore is an arranged musical review using songs from popular musicals that deal with shared themes of lost love, community coming together, and the struggle for resilience. PHNEE Event Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Keyes Decision

Park Hill Neighbors for Equity in Education is hosting an event on Feb 10th at Manual High School. The Keyes case was Denver’s court ordered desegregation case and had (and continues to have) a massive impact on Denver, and the country.

Christi Keyes Romero (daughter of Wilfred Keyes, named plaintiff in the case), Buddy Noel, Pat Pascoe, Dr. Kathy Escamilla, Mike Atkins, and several current high school students will be participating. We think it will be a powerful event and would love to see you all there.
