Big changes are on the horizon. Here’s what you need to know:

🔑 REAL ID: U.S. travelers will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card for domestic flights starting May 2025.
🌐 ETA: If you’re traveling to the UK or Australia, don’t forget to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before you go!
🇪🇺 ETIAS: For travel to the EU, an ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) will be required, launching in 2025.

With so many things on your to do list before a trip, it can be easy to forget some essentials that can make your life easier while at the park! 🤩

Here’s a list of mine:

1. Portable phone charger - a game changer so you can not only capture those special memories but also use your device to plan out your rides, book Lightning Lane passes, and mobile order your food (all on the app) 📱
2. Snacks - Yes, the parks are full of yummy food! But there’s nothing that spoils the mood than a hangry kiddo (or mama). Pack snacks, sandwiches, and some water bottles. Especially stock up if you have a stroller. 🥨
3. Layered clothing - The temps can change throughout the day and dressing in layers allows everyone in the fam to stay comfortable. Especially once the sun sets, grab those sweatshirts so you are nice and cozy for the fireworks.🧣
4. Wet wipes & hand sanitizer - Nothing like sticky hands after eating cotton candy… Having wet wipes handy helps for an easy clean up. Add a spritz of hand sanitizer and your kiddo is ready for their next snack! 🤲🏻
5. Ziploc baggies - As says, ziploc baggies come in handy all day long! Have extra treats you want to save for later? 🍿 Baggy! Have wet clothes from riding Splash Mountain? 💦 Baggy! Ziploc baggies are the answer.

Extra Tip: Lockers inside the Disneyland park can be rented at a daily rate for as low as $7! We dropped off extra items in the morning and picked them up later as needed. 🔐

My favorite places to get these items range from , and even ! 🎯

✨An extra tip?✨ If you have the time, go to Downtown Disney the day before you head to the parks. We went for dinner and it was the perfect start to our time at Disney. Our kiddo was able to take his time in the World of Disney store and pick out a Goofy stuffed animal. He also got to experience picking out his first pins and enjoy a churro! IYKYK 😉

He even got a glowing balloon that he got to enjoy in Downtown Disney and the parks the next day! 🎈

Taking the time to do these things the day before made it so we had more time to ride rides. 🥳🎢🎠

If you are anything like me, crowds can make you anxious when trying to keep your little one safe and close by. Although we never want to think about our kiddos getting lost, it’s best to prepare them as best as we can! As always says, “Good parents lose kids. Good kids get lost.”

✨ Tips:
- Have a conversation with your child about what to do if they get separated from the group. Point out what adult helpers look like.
- Take a picture of your child before you embark on your big day. Make sure you can see exactly what they wearing!
- Never assume someone is watching your child. Always let someone in your party know if you are stepping away so that they have eyes on your child.
- AirTags can be a helpful tool. We have our son wear one as a bracelet.

Biggest takeaway, the moment your child gets lost - don’t be afraid to make a scene. Keep it simple. Say loudly, “missing child, red shirt, 6 years old, brown hair.” Those around you will immediately start looking around for a child you described.

Getting separated from your kiddo can be scary! Taking the time to prepare yourselves can help a bit. 🩵

Destination 1 is…

✨ Resort 37 is an idyllic retreat nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, just a short distance from Florence. Perched above the Arno Valley, it offers breathtaking views and a serene escape. ✨

Our family spent a weekend celebrating my precious in-laws’ 50th wedding anniversary here and it was such a treat! 💗

The food at the onsite restaurant, Al Pruno, was divine. Don’t have time to spend the night? It would be worth a visit simply for their incredible Tuscan lunch and dinners. 🍷 🍝

The staff made us feel at home and helped make our experience perfect from beginning to end. Come and stay during the spring and summer seasons to relax in the beautiful infinity pool and enjoy an apertivo poolside! 🍹 ☀️
