Happy better world day! We learn the importance of pollinators and how they help the garden world. We decided to help them out by planting flowers that attract them so they can do their job better.

We had a great time at Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. We saw the play Ella Enchanted and learned a little bit of how a play is put on and works. Then were learned about Chilean rain sticks and even got to make our own!

Parents, your students watched a video about the lunar eclispe and why the moon turns orange when it happens. Viewing the lunar eclipse would be a great extension of the lesson. Also, make sure to ask your student why the moon turns orange!

This Sunday is the start of Advent. As a class we've been learning about how this is a time to prepare our hearts for Jesus. Each student helped formed our advent wreath with their hands and two reflections to work on during this holy season.
