I get asked this ALL the time, and the answer is YES! I love to help plan Universal vacations and have tons of experience (as a guest and an agent) Have you been to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure lately?
Heading to MNSSHP this year? Here are my top tips for maximizing your party time! 1. Have a plan: now that the party has kicked off, get an idea of what you want to prioritize on your party night. Are character meet and greets at the top of your list? Hop in line at 4 for Jack & Sally to avoid long wait times. Are rides important? Get in line for Tiana or Tron at 6pm when day time guest start leaving 2. Know the park: you can see party maps online to know where things are. Have an idea of where you're going beforehand to save time 3. Be prepared for weather: if it rains, parades and shows may be cancelled. Luckily, the rainy day cavalcade comes out in this case. Know this is a possibility and have a backup plan. No one can control the weather but you can still have a great time 4. Have fun!: don't let the stress of planning ruin your time. A little preparation beforehand can really make a difference. And attitude is everything🎉 Need party tickets? Even if you haven't booked with me, I can help you get your party tickets and will send you my party guide to make all of this easier for you! Disney World Airport Transportation options. Which one is your go to? 1. Mears: this shuttle service is super affordable and will take you to and from your Disney resort. Great option if you're on a budget, don't want or need car seats, and just want to get from point A to point B 2. Uber/Lyft: this is an easy one, especially if you use these services often. Not recommended if you need car seats, though 3. Private car service: you can find many private car services that offer car seats and can accommodate a bigger group. This is my personal preference with a big family, because they usually charge per trip or vehicle type rather than per person! 4. Car rental: while a valid option, it would not be my first choice. Once on Disney property, there is free transportation to and from the parks and Disney Springs, so there is no need to have your own vehicle. It's actually really easy in theory, but good luck saying no to all of those Mickey Premium Bars in the parks 😅As a big family, we try to stick to a food budget. Sit down meals for a family of 7, 3 meals a day, for 5 days or more will add up SO FAST...so here's what we do! 1. Instacart to our resort: we place an Instacart order for things like water bottles, snacks, and food items that don't need to be refrigerated (or will fit in the "beverage cooler" or mini fridge in our room) 2. Dining Plan: if we are set on doing things like character meals, we do the Disney Dining Plan. This is budgeted right into your trip cost that you can make payments on. When planning year out, we can easily budget this and make smaller payments 3. Disney Giftcards: you can use these on basically anything in Disney, so grab some at Target with your red card and save 5%. Then allot them for food & snacks in the parks or at your resort. Am I missing anything? Best Disney resorts for big families? I get this question all the time! Tell me your favorite in the comments If you're on a budget, the family suites at Art of Animation and All Star Music resorts are going to be your BFF. If your budget is open, you have some more options with different deluxe villas that will give you more space and full kitchens There are also some great Good Neighbor hotels that can accommodate big families; but these options do come with limitations like upcharges for park transportation. Want to go to Disney but don't want to wait in long lines for your favorite rides? Here are 3 ways to easily make it happen!✨🏰 1. Purchase Lightening Lane Multi-pass: this allows you to choose 3 rides to use the Lightening Lane for, for each park day, before your trip even starts. Once you check into a Lightening Lane during your trip, you can make another selection 2. Purchase Lightening Lane Single Pass: This is a MUST for the most popular rides like Tron, Rise of the Resistance, or Flight of Passage (and more) 3. Consider attending an after hours event: Attend MNSSHP, Jollywood Nights, or other events with less people. You can also stay at a Deluxe resort to have access to extended evening hours when available. You don't HAVE to wait in long lines but you will pay for convenience. Like everything in life, it's give and take.
