Here we go Destin (Crystal Beach)!!!!! This is such great news for our little quaint white picket fence beach community.

The Destin City Council unanimously approved a Major Development Order Monday for the construction of the Shores at Tarpon Beach Park, advancing a significant public access project along the city’s coastline.

New 340 feet of beachfront along Scenic Highway 98!!!!!

The 3.08-acre development, located at 3310-3324 Scenic Highway 98, will include 49 standard parking spaces, 29 low-speed vehicle spaces, six bicycle parking spaces, four pavilions, a Little Adventures outpost, restroom facilities, and an ADA-compliant wooden boardwalk to the beach.

The Shores at Tarpon Beach Park development, representing a $14 million investment in public beach access, will transform 340 feet of beachfront along Scenic Highway 98 into a new community amenity.

Stayed a few nights
I would love to keep this beautiful gem a secret for us, but I have to share how wonderful not only the home was, but how wonderful the owners are. From being decorated perfectly, to the absolutely PRISTINE, clean, and organized condition the entire place is. You can tell just how much they care.
The view from the porch is incredible, and literally STEPS from the beach. Very clean area with very nice people! We loved the place was sort of tucked back on a smaller road , but a quick drive to main area of Destin where so much to do for all ages! We hope to make this a yearly trip!!

Wow!!! This unit exceeded our expectations!!! It is literally perfection!!! As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted with a warm, nice aroma that screamed “Home!” Melissa is the perfect hostess, and her attention to detail is immaculate! She gave such clear instructions, and I love how she checked in on us to ensure everything was fine. I searched over a month for the perfect Airbnb for my family. I wanted a place that felt like home, and when I say it delivered, I mean it. The views from the balcony were just as described. The pictures are beautiful, but to experience this property in person was everything! The place was very clean and well organized upon arrival. Everything in the kitchen cabinets was also cutely labeled, and we enjoyed cooking and preparing our meals with ease. Our bed was super comfortable, and the bunk beds and accommodations for our little ones was chef’s kiss! From the tablet and remote holders to their personal little T.V.s in both bunks and the night lights, they loved it all! They did not want to leave the condo. Melissa, you spoiled our babies a little bit more than we already have! They said your place is so beautiful! Oh and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony each day before getting my day started and before going to bed each night. I loved looking across the street at the beach listening to the waves and watching people riding bikes, walking and jogging. Some of them even waved. We were also only steps away from the beach, and everything was conveniently located. We didn’t have to drive more than 10 minutes anywhere during our stay. I could go on and on about this place. I instantly fell in love with it. Melissa, Thank You and Stan so much for a true 5-Star Experience. Your beautifully decorated little paradise definitely made our stay sweeter and even more memorable! You both have created our new “Home Away From Home” whenever we visit Destin. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!!! ;)

We absolutely loved our time here! The condo is beautiful and conveniently located. Melissa was super helpful and friendly and easy to communicate with, and it was clear throughout the home how thoughtful she is. Everything was clearly labeled and impeccably organized! We had a wonderful time as a family. Highly recommend!

This place was very comfortable that we didn’t want to leave! It looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean as well. We had a nice view of the beach and we were literally close to everything. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Melissa's Airbnb was truly a 5-star experience! From the detailed information provided in advance to the thoughtful touches throughout the space, everything was perfect. The Airbnb was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and even smelled wonderful thanks to the scented plug-ins. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, but this one stands out with its thoughtful design and organization—hooks and labels everywhere for convenience. The location was stunning, with a beautiful beach nearby. The bed linens, microfiber insert, and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Although we rarely used the huge TVs, it was nice to have them available. We had everything we needed and were blown away by the overall experience. We can’t wait to return!
