Prefect Day for Bachelorette Trip!
Viator review: Choose 3-6 hrs. Captained Pontoon Crab Island w/ Dolphin Cruise
Randy and Dena were lovely hosts for an incredible experience! We came to Destin for a bachelorette trip, and their boat was perfect. They had plenty of fun games and activities while we were out on the water. Dena was very accommodating - taking photos for our group and grabbing/handing people drinks from the cooler. Unfortunately a storm came in, and we had to cut our stay at Crab Island an hour short, but Randy and Dena were quick to offer a refund on the remaining hour, which was sent back to us by the end of the day. Randy was not the captain on our boat, but he was quick to check-in with us when a group of guys came over to us. While we were completely fine, it was nice to know that he was willing to step in and make sure we felt safe had we preferred to be left alone. Randy and Dena wanted us to make the most of our experience, and it showed in the way that they hosted us! Thanks again.

If you come to Crab Island and decide to go away from your boat.... 1)Let someone know where you are going. 2)Be mindful of the time your boat is leaving & be back in time. 3)Don't go off with some random person. You don't know for sure if they'll bring you back or not.
We just thought we'd give some tips to avoid your captain or us calling the Coast Guard again.

A great day on the water!
The Original Redneck Pontoon Crab Island/Dolphin Cruise 3-6hrs
My husband and I recently vacationed in Destin with our 17 year old son and two of his teenage buddies. I knew we wanted to spend a day at Crab Island but we had never been before, so I did not know who to book a charter thru. Also, keeping three teenagers entertained for 4 hours is not always easy to do. I stumbled upon The Original Redneck Pontoon on Tripadvisor, and I am so glad that I did! This experience was absolutely the highlight of our trip. The owners, Randy and Dena, are the nicest people and are well equipped to make your day awesome. It was very windy the day of our trip, and being a boater myself, I know that can make for a difficult day on the water. However, Randy handled it like pro, driving, docking, and anchoring us in the middle of the Crab Island action with absolute ease. Once there, he immediately jumped into action setting up the floats, paddle board, and games for us without any prompting. The boys had so much fun playing basketball, axe throwing (yes, axe throwing!), tipsy toss, and paddle boarding. When they needed a break from the water, they enjoyed lunch on the top deck swing and thought up a plan. The boat has a putting green and they used various materials to turn the boat deck into an obstacle course for their putt-putt game. Randy took it all in stride and even took pictures and videos for me so I could stay in the water relaxing. Since I booked thru a third party site, he didn’t have easy access to my contact information and I forgot to give him my number when we departed. A few days later, he tracked me down online to send me the pictures and videos he took of the boys. That type of amazing customer service is just unheard of these days! I was blown away by his kindness and follow up. We will definitely be using this company again for our future Destin trips, and without hesitation I recommend that you do too.
