Tonight is FIREWORK NIGHT! It's All American Thursday at Harborwalk Village with a flyover in the sky at 6:30pm followed by live music at 7pm and fireworks over the water at 9pm. Come early to grab a seat! 💥

A little history of how our beautiful Destin came to be as well as where the name Destin came from.

DID YOU KNOW -
Destin traces its immediate history to a fisherman, Captain Leonard Destin from New London, Conn., who began sailing and fishing the gulf waters around 1835 and, through series of mishaps, permanently settled in Destin in about 1850-1852. Captain Destin pioneered the fishing industry and Destin has maintained this heritage to the present.

Respect the turtles 🐢

Sea turtle nesting season is here! While we love to build sandcastles as much as you, please flatten yours before you leave the beach for the day. Sea turtles crawl on the beach to lay their eggs and can get trapped in holes or deterred from nesting. We want to keep our sea turtle mommas and hatchlings safe!
