We had a rare chance to get away for the weekend to Portland, Maine, so we made a quick drive down to Gloucester, Massachusetts, to see where some of the boats dock! We even met aboard Very cool!

❄️It SNOWED in Destin today! We've gotten snow before, but, based on past "snow days," we were skeptical. We waited around, seeing photos and videos from family in surrounding areas, and when the radar showed it was going to be here, it wasn't. We checked on the boat around 12:00pm so we could get back before it might start. The tide was so low we could see the sandbar of Crab Island! After we got home, we started to see some raindrops and sleet, but it didn't last long. We thought that was it, and we were slightly disappointed, as we've been in the past. But then...about an hour later around 3:00pm, out of nowhere, it started to flurry. It quickly got harder AND it was sticking to the ground! We bundled up and drove down to HarborWalk to check on the boat again, and see how much snow had accumulated--Around 5 inches!
