Family Vacation



We stayed at the Beach House on Barracudda in Destin Fla for a week in June 2015. What a wonderful place for my family. There was plenty of room for us all to have privacy. The best thing is the close walk to the beach. The teenagers could come and go with out adult supervision and i am sure the walk was closer than the information suggested. The

Nisbets were wonderful to work with and checked on us to make sure everything was going well. I will use them in the future. Stayed: June 2015

Summerwind III off-season stay



This home was great! We stayed for a weekend with a group of eight, and enjoyed the heated pool and easy beach access. The house in superb shape and lived up to the impressive photos on VRBO. The Nisbets were great to work with, and our credit card payment was easy and painless. We especially enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and soaking in the lit, heated pool after dark. Awesome!!! This is such a wonderful home for a family vacation! We stayed here with our entire family with ages ranging from 8 mos to 57 years, and everyone was happy...especially the 5 teenagers. The pool is great to have right in the backyard, and the house is so roomy with a wonderful, large kitchen - great for family meals and family time by the pool. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! Stayed: July 2014

Destin Florida Rental



This is a great house to stay at when visiting Destin. We stayed for a week with 14 people of various ages from 10 to 65 years of age. Everyone enjoyed the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is everything as described in VRBO plus some. The house was very clean and well kept when we arrived, and everything in the house worked. Here is our groups favorite things about the house in no particular order: 1. Very clean and convenient private pool 2. Private basketball court 3. Easy walking distance to the beach 4. Lots of space especially the dining room with plenty of seating for everyone 6. Multiple decks with great views in all directions 7. great location with easy access to all Destin has to offer 8. The owners are very easy to reach whenever we had any questions 9. Comes with linens, towels, and cooking/eating utensils. Overall, we where very happy with our accommodations and would definitely reccomend and/or stay again when in Destin. Stayed: June 2014

Beautiful home, excellent for a large family and great location!! This beautiful 3 story beach house was the perfect get away and gathering spot for us and our extended family to meet for a small family wedding. Plenty of room and fun for kids (basketball court was awesome as well as the pool). All of the amenities were there and it was clean and modern. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to stay here again! Stayed: April 2014

Parker H. Great Home for Large Groups. Perfect Location. This house is perfect for anyone with a large group. The location is incredible. Easy 30 second walk to the beach and everything you need within 2 minutes of the house. Walking distance to the crab trap. The heated pool was great as we ended up with a few cold days in the beginning of March. Would stay here again without hesitation. The owner was available all weekend for any questions, recommendations, etc. Would highly recommend Summerwind to anyone. Stayed: March 2014

Summerwind is the perfect location. It is close to everything. I could drop my husband and son off to golf in minutes ( 4 different courses within 5 miles) so the rest of us always had use of the van.We really liked the safety gates around the pool and deck. We also liked the alarm on the back door. Our group of 16 and had plenty of room for everyone. The house is nicer than the pictures show. That usually doesn't happen. Stayed: December 2013

Family Time



My family of 17, ranging in ages from 1 to 72, rented this home for a family vacation. It was our first time renting with VRBO and we were a little nervous. However, as soon as we arrived, our worries were over. The house was beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures. (Maybe even more so). The spacious master bedrooms really made you feel pampered and comfortable. Our family spent a lot of time on the beach, but evenings were spent playing games and just hanging out together, which was easy to do because of the great openness of the living areas. We also made good use of the basketball court and pool. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone and would love to go back. Stayed: May 2013

Perfect



My husband and I went to Destin with a three other couples to celebrate my 31st birthday. This house was perfect!! Plenty of room for everyone, wonderfully decorated and a great pool. The basketball court was a great bonus. The owners were available all weekend to answer any questions I had and were very easy to work with. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy a carefree weekend. Due to unusually cool weather and high winds, we had to spend most of our time at the house and pool instead of the beach. Still everyone raved about a wonderful time! This house exceeded all expectations!! Stayed: May 2013
