Skywalker Parasailing is located on the docks along the Destin Harbor behind 'Marina Cafe'. Skywalker Parasailing offer parasailing for ages 6 and up and our brand new parasail boat accommodates 15 people. We do allow spectators ages 3 and up to ride along on the boat, with a reservation when spots are available. Our equipment is always new and checked daily by our USCG Certified Captains to help
ensure that you have a safe, fun and easy parasailing adventure! Parasailing Frequently Asked Questions:
• Do I have to get wet while parasailing? Our parasailing takes off and lands on the back of the boat. You will discuss with the parasail Captain whether or not you would like to be dipped- you can even touch your toes or dip all the way up to your chest!
• Do you parasail in the Gulf? Our Captains always prefer to parasail in the Gulf however when bad weather or conditions exist in the Gulf – we head to the calmer waters in the bay near Crab Island. The view is extraordinary regardless and sea-life is equally cool at both locations!
• Will we spot dolphins on our parasail trip? We see dolphins every day on our parasail trips! Either at the dock or during your boat ride or parasail flight, there is a great chance you will encounter dolphins!
• How long is the rope do you let out when parasailing? 800′ of rope which puts you at 400′ above the Destin waters.
• Is parasailing scary? Parasailing is both fun and 100% safe with a reputable, insured and licensed parasailing company. There is nothing to be afraid of however any new experience can bring some anxiety. You are secured safely in our inspected parasail harnesses attached to our parasail line and chute and you are wearing a life jacket the entire time you're parasailing.
• What are weight regulations? Maximum weight limit to go parasailing is 500 pounds and minimum weight 90 lbs.
• What should I bring and wear to go parasailing? Wear flip flops, sun glasses, sun screen and bring along towel and bottled water. You are welcome to bring sunglasses phone, go-pro, camera up with you, but we aren’t responsible for it being damaged or dropped. Absolutely NO smoking on the boat!
