What do you do when a guest damage your property?🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

*Always have property and damage insurance outside of whatever booking platform you’re on, for your short term rental and all it’s contents.

* If you are on a booking platform like Airbnb make sure you have the coverage they offer you… and immediately put a claim in once you notice the damages and speak with your guest!

*Make sure you have in your house rules if anything is damaged during the guest stay have a number associated with the damage example… “up to $1000 will be charged if damages occur”

*Lastly, maintain professionalism while dealing with your guest/clients even when they don’t want to be accountable for their actions of damaging your furniture or items.

*FYI- I immediately replaced my Ottoman as I had another guest coming in within 4 hours of noticing the damage. I’m happy to say!!! I won my claim and my ottoman was paid for by the guest responsible for the damages.💪🏽👏🏽🙏🏽 Have your affairs in order.
