Designing has a way of transporting you back to where you made those precious first stitches in a piece you know you’re gonna love. I can’t stop thinking about creating the upcoming Bouquet Scarf at , just vibing by the lake with the coolest bunch of makers. Nothing beats good company, zero distractions, and the creative energy hitting just right ✨

Here’s how my In Between Week is going 🐾
I had no idea there was a name for the days between Christmas and New Years. I’ve seen Twixmas, Christmastide, Boxing Week, and Christmas Octave. Considering there is absolutely *nothing* being accomplish (except my WIPs 🥳), I’ll keep calling it the In Between 😋 Are you getting anything done as we count down to the new year?🥂
I did finish this adorable stash busting granny blanket. It’s made with Cascata and a 6mm hook. And it’s Pepper Approved! 🐶

Adventing hit different this year 🤩
I indulged in FOUR yarn countdown boxes this year and was blown away by each one of them:
• took us on a stroll through the most gorgeous garden
• made me feel like a kid in a candy store
• represented for the sneaker heads
• made me long for Christmas’ past
Adventing may be over, but the real fun has just begun! Now we can use the yarn 😋 What do you have planned for those pretty advent skeins? Drop you project ideas below 🙌🏾
First advent is Hue Loco’s Botanical Fade Advent in DK , which I turned into my Bahama Wrap. I used a 6mm Tunisian crochet hook, and the same starting chain as the FREE pattern. I still need to block it, then I can wear it every day forever 🥰

A little birdie told me that Happy Place, the original TLYC x collaboration, is finally ready for production at the new mill 🙌🏾 Want to help me freshen up the palette? Let me know what colors are missing - shoot for the moon, be specific, and recommend as many colors as you like 🌈

In just six short weeks, we’ve tackled 40 Tunisian and traditional crochet stitches and techniques. Can you believe it?! 🤯 My cheeks still hurt from smiling with pride at the many successes and challenges you all overcame. There’s nothing quite like the sense of accomplishment you get from trying something new. Enjoy a pat on the back while you snuggle under you new blanket 🤗
The CAL may be over, but the fun doesn’t have to end! Keep posting updates of your finished blankets and WIPs, and be sure to tag me. While you’re at it, let me know which stitches you loved and which you’ll be avoiding like plague. Personally, I’ll be ok if I never crochet a cable again 🫣

Pepper and I squeezed in a couple relaxing stitches on this stash buster yesterday. It’s a C2C Granny Stitch blanket using ’s Cascata - my oh my 😍

Whewwww chile - it’s Week 3 already?! 🫨
I blinked and Week 2 was over. But that’s ok - it’s time to roll up our sleeves for a fresh batch of crochet goodness. This week brings texture, color, and new techniques for us to try. Personally, I’m excited to see all the cross stitchers go rogue with their Snowflake Square. And I can’t wait to see my creative makers have some fun with our Love Intarsia Crochet square 🤩

The latest batch of stitches for the Tunisian Snowy Sampler and Crochet Amour Samplers are LIVE! Last week’s Tunisian in the Round and C2C adventures are behind us 😅 Let’s see what you can do with two kinds of puff stitches, chunky bobbles that look like falling snowflakes, and Tunisian crochet worked with a traditional crochet hook.
