It’s only the 13th, and January has already been… a lot 😅 If you need a little escape from the madness, make some room in your WIP basket for this colorful beauty. Rainbow Ridge is here! 🌈🧶
After many kind requests, you can now find this speedy stash buster as a PDF pattern 🙌🏾 There’s also a free version on my blog - both are linked in my bio.
The Rainbow Ridge Scarf used leftovers of all 25 colors in the Apricity palette 😍 if you don’t have them all laying around, you can sub in any five colors (see palette inspiration two posts back 👉🏾)
Now that I’ve made on in color order, maybe the next will be alphabetical order. Or lightest to darkest. Or totally random!! Either way, I have a feeling this will be on repeat 🙌🏾

First completed project of 2025 🧸
This adorable teddy bear snuggle blanket is heading off to my beautiful new friend very soon. Thanks for inspiring me to try a new yarn and design, and helping me tick off my first box on my Yarny Bingo card. We’re starting the year off strong 💪🏾
I got several requests to publish this pattern after sharing it in my stories last night. There’s a lot on the to-do list right now, but I’ll do my best. In the meantime - make a square, put a smaller square on top and seam it into a hood, then plop two half circles on top. How’s that for a pattern? Pepper seems to like it, at least😅🤎

Designing has a way of transporting you back to where you made those precious first stitches in a piece you know you’re gonna love. I can’t stop thinking about creating the upcoming Bouquet Scarf at , just vibing by the lake with the coolest bunch of makers. Nothing beats good company, zero distractions, and the creative energy hitting just right ✨

Here’s how my In Between Week is going 🐾
I had no idea there was a name for the days between Christmas and New Years. I’ve seen Twixmas, Christmastide, Boxing Week, and Christmas Octave. Considering there is absolutely *nothing* being accomplish (except my WIPs 🥳), I’ll keep calling it the In Between 😋 Are you getting anything done as we count down to the new year?🥂
I did finish this adorable stash busting granny blanket. It’s made with Cascata and a 6mm hook. And it’s Pepper Approved! 🐶

Adventing hit different this year 🤩
I indulged in FOUR yarn countdown boxes this year and was blown away by each one of them:
• took us on a stroll through the most gorgeous garden
• made me feel like a kid in a candy store
• represented for the sneaker heads
• made me long for Christmas’ past
Adventing may be over, but the real fun has just begun! Now we can use the yarn 😋 What do you have planned for those pretty advent skeins? Drop you project ideas below 🙌🏾
First advent is Hue Loco’s Botanical Fade Advent in DK , which I turned into my Bahama Wrap. I used a 6mm Tunisian crochet hook, and the same starting chain as the FREE pattern. I still need to block it, then I can wear it every day forever 🥰

In just six short weeks, we’ve tackled 40 Tunisian and traditional crochet stitches and techniques. Can you believe it?! 🤯 My cheeks still hurt from smiling with pride at the many successes and challenges you all overcame. There’s nothing quite like the sense of accomplishment you get from trying something new. Enjoy a pat on the back while you snuggle under you new blanket 🤗
The CAL may be over, but the fun doesn’t have to end! Keep posting updates of your finished blankets and WIPs, and be sure to tag me. While you’re at it, let me know which stitches you loved and which you’ll be avoiding like plague. Personally, I’ll be ok if I never crochet a cable again 🫣
