The latest batch of stitches for the Tunisian Snowy Sampler and Crochet Amour Samplers are LIVE! Last week’s Tunisian in the Round and C2C adventures are behind us 😅 Let’s see what you can do with two kinds of puff stitches, chunky bobbles that look like falling snowflakes, and Tunisian crochet worked with a traditional crochet hook. Call me optimistic, but I think you got this 😁

As Ms. Badu once said, “What a day, what a day.” 😔
I’ve been oscillating between pure rage and fighting back tears all day. My biggest surprise is how this election has contradicted what I always saw as American values and morals. I’m finding comfort in my favorite people (thanks for coming by, ), snacks (Flaming Hot Cheetos + green grapes), and yarn - surprise surprise 😊
Today’s filming schedule for the upcoming included the C2C square today. This little pixel heart reminded me that my purpose and existence is governed by a higher power, and He’s always looking out for me. I’m shaken, but not broken. We will get through this 💪🏾 Sending love to everyone feeling shaken today 💛

Sunday stitches ☀️
Making some progress on holiday gifts and using a yarn I’m very not used to. I tried getting gauge with 20 times and no luck 🙄 Is that just me?

Move over, temperature blankets. I’m feeling Moody 😎
After 5 straight years of (glorious!) temperature blankets, 2025 feels like a good time to switch things up. Next year’s blanket will be a Mood Tracking Blanket instead! 😄 And I want to crochet with YOU! 🤗
Here’s the deal: I’m releasing a pattern for the new Four-Square Blanket on December 2nd, and we’ll use the same pattern in fi*****ng weight yarn for our mood blanket. Each square is 3 months, and each day is one row. Pick 12 (or more, or less) moods, assign a color to each, and we’ll start stitching January 1st 🥳

I had the immense pleasure of joining the lovely ladies of the Detroit Knit & Crochet Club for their 12 year anniversary celebration 🥳 The love, the community, the melanin 🤎 I won a raffle prize, ate some deeeeelicious cake (thanks Kim!), and had the biggest grin watching tear up the runway ☺️

Rhinebeck Recap - Day ☝🏾
After traveling into the city, the first stop was pizza, obvs 😁 Then had the let the yams breath in my fire fit for CAKEpalooza 🔥 🎂 Did I finish my top at 5am before the event?! Yes ma’am, and I do it again!! 😆 I got to squish a bunch of my maker baes, share my new yarn IRL, and then spend the evening talking sh*t with people who feel more like family than peers 🤗
