Good fun last night as our Holiday Lights Tour wound its way around and into the Menorah lighting! Downtown was alive with excitement!
It's official: we have the best customers, drivers, and guides on the whole planet. Our Merry & Bright: Detroit Holiday Lights tour is off and running nearly every day - sometimes multiple buses per day!
All sales from our tours go to support Ride for Ride, our non-profit program to get Detroit kids in need free rides to school and after-school programs, and Detroit Student Racing Team to prepare kids for the next future of work by teaching them how to wrench, weld, and race real cars.
It's a lot of work keeping this whole ship together, but this is the team that makes it happen!

We JUST listed our Merry & Bright: Detroit Holiday Lights tour a couple weeks ago, made one post, and the whole thing was completely sold out. SOLD OUT! That's over 20+ dates of Excellent Merriment not counting the private tours.
So we pulled out all the stops, listed the rest of our Art Buses, and we're doing the biggest Holiday Lights Tour ever in DBC history. Hot drinks (spiked or not), local treats, Ugly Sweater competitions, and so so many lights.

Allow me to reintroduce myself: I started @detroitbus when I was 23 years old with just one bus. I had no idea that 11 years later it would be this thriving local business providing tens of thousands of rides each month. I learned a lot the hard way over those 11 years. Follow along as I learn more tough lessons. 🤠
The highlight of our day was this lovely woman busting out her bagpipes and absolutely tearing it up on the bus. Thanks a ton to all of you wild people that rode with us today to Corktown for the @corktownraces and St. Paddy’s Day parade. We are all stoked to shake off winter and dive full bore into the greatest summer we’ll ever have as a city. Lessgo. 💪🚌💪
