Great news about a local landmark. Good for all of Dillon Beach!

We are very proud that we can now say “Pardon our dust!”
As many of you know, we were given approval to move forward on making some upgrades to our facilities in 2011. That approval was contingent on a waste water treatment facility.
Last week Lawson’s Landing was given final approval from the California Coastal Commission to move forward with development!

This final approval will allow us to move forward with upgrading our facilities and providing our guests with the amenities everyone desires.

Over the next several years, we will be;
- installing a waste water treatment facility
- running a new food trailer with small bites and coastal favorites
- building modern restrooms with showers
- we will be installing 20, bay view manufactured cottages
- the roads will all be replaced (once the infrastructure is all under the road)

We are so thrilled to be able to continue to host guests with additional amenities for years to come!

Up on the very top left corner of the photo is Ocean’s Crest. Four hundred feet below and to the right in the photo is the little beach at low tide. Dillon Beach and Lawson’s Landing are the large beache(s) in the background.

The old railing has been removed. Soon Ocean’s Crest will have 6 foot glass walls surrounding the deck to block the Pacific Ocean winds. Within a couple weeks we will have “summer” on the deck!
