About a week ago, it was and the hubs and I decided we were long overdue and that it was the PERFECT time for a little adults only getaway! I did my thing-RESEARCHED, and found a handful of options in our budget and presented them to my husband…it was so fun hearing his thoughts! My husband and I recently traveled to Lisbon, Portugal and Algarve, Portugal, and I put together a little video of some of our favorite pictures from the trip. We tried a new airline and flew TAPP Portugal. Since it was a longer flight and I’m terrified of flying, we made the splurge for our 20th anniversary and upgraded to first class. They also offered a direct flight and we had two meals on each flight. It was really nice because this airline offers a lounge in the airport with all you can eat food and drinks (yes, adult beverages too!) and a place to relax before each flight. This little perk was included with your first class ticket only. We checked our luggage and headed for the lounge. Got to enjoy a few glasses of red wine and some really good appetizers before boarding the plane. On the first leg of our trip, we stayed at the Penha Longa Resort Ritz Carlton in Lisbon Portugal and it was absolutely beautiful. This resort was located in the countryside on a beautiful golf course. Very secluded and quiet. Family friendly. For the second half of our trip we stayed at the absolutely breathtaking Vila Vida Parc in Algarve, Portugal. This resort was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. It’s situated on top of the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, oh my gosh… gorgeous!!! We had this beautiful view from our room as well. The food was amazing and I cannot say enough about this resort. We are very fortunate to have traveled to many amazing destinations all over the world and one of the things I find most when we do, is that the accommodations are very disappointing. Whether it’s lack of cleanliness, amenities, etc. it’s always less than par and just an added stress when traveling with 4 kids.

My vision is to completely cater to families traveling with children and to allow for the entire vacation experience to be stress-free and seamless from start to finish.
