Heya Everyone! Skye with Palmetto here! We have officially decided to run the Sifting Island Adventures as it's own entity to allow for more flexible scheduling moving forward!
Sifting Island Adventure 🏝 ♥️
Each booking receives a 2 foot by 4 foot screening table with 1/4" screen with their own pressurized water source to wash gravel material with. We have high tops for standing or low tops with chairs if you'd rather lounge while you hunt! You are given a wagon and shovel for retrieving gravel layer from any of the marked holes that we have prepped down to the layer for you to make things as easy as possible! Worried about sunburn? Don't be! We have installed canopies over all of our sifting tables to keep you cool and shaded during your hunt! This new adventure is perfect for families and large groups and offers you the ability to find hundreds of teeth in just a few hours time!
Sooo what have our clients been finding on this new adventure? We have seen a wonderful array of species including Hastalis (formerly classified as a Mako shark, now recorded as the ancestor of the Great White), Great Whites, Giant Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, Angustidens, Megalodons, Hemipristis (Hemi's), Lemons, Extinct Tigers, Benedini and even some extremely rare species like the Angel Shark, Cow Sharks, and Giant Threshers!
In addition to the shark teeth, clients are finding shark and fish vertebrae, mouthplates, assorted dolphin, whale, and turtle bone, solitary corals, steinkerns, shells and more!
Some added options for the Sifting Island Adventure include:
Extra Screening Table: $150 + tax
Assisted Layer Retrievel and Table loading: $150 + tax
Birthday Parties: Add lunch for everyone to the day's menu for an additional cost of $10 per person
Dry Dig Clients can also now opt for using one of the screening tables for an additional cost of $150 + tax
