Welcome to the summit

We want to personally welcome you on behalf of the family of The Summit. Our hope is that you will experience a group of people that have been changed by the reality of a crucified and risen Savior, Jesus Christ. Through this tender and amazing act, He has created a way through the power of the Holy Spirit to truly be human again, the way He intended it when He created every

thing. If you haven't come to know Jesus Christ in this way, our hope is that you will. We love to gather as a family to be encouraged and challenged, but we understand that this Jesus who has made us different has called us to join Him in this lost and dying world. We count it an honor and privilege to declare and demonstrate the message that transformed our lives. SMALL GROUPS
Live as groups of people committed to Christ, His mission, & each other. We encourage every believer at The Summit to join a Small Group “a group of people committed to Christ, His mission, and each other.”
Small Groups meet weekly to study the word of God and fellowship. These groups meet in various places and times and Small Groups don't just study the word of God, they also take ACTION , applying what they have learned by going out to serve the community. Some groups gather to display the gospel in a common neighborhood. Others gather to display the gospel through a common vocation, because they work in a similar field. Others gather to display the gospel to a common group of people: an age-stage, gender, language group, or to address needs within our community (local outreach). Missions cannot simply be another program in the life of the church that competes for invariably-limited resources. Rather, missions must become the reason for which all other ministries exist. The New Testament church did not have a missions program. The church was a missions program. The life of The summit must be mission driven. This ministry works to provide food
to God's Children who are in need. To donate food, funding or to experience -

Christmas morning some of our church family will be traveling down into the city of Richmond to celebrate this day with a warm meal, gifts, praise and worship. We will be sharing The Love of Jesus with others who live on the streets or in abandon buildings.
If The Spirit of God so leads you, we will be collecting: winter socks, gloves, hats and blankets at The Summit Church building. You can drop off these items under the pavilion in the collection box. The Summit building address is -
