The National Weather Service has issued a **WINTER STORM WARNING** effective from **4 PM Tuesday to 1 PM EST Wednesday.** Citizens should prepare for heavy mixed precipitation, with total snow and sleet accumulations reaching up to one inch and ice accumulations potentially hitting one-tenth of an inch. In light of this severe weather forecast, Sheriff Cole is urging all local businesses to provide employees with ample time to return home safely on Tuesday and to remain closed for business on Wednesday. The safety of our community is paramount, and we will continue to monitor the storm system closely, providing updates as they become available. Stay alert, stay safe, and ensure you are prepared for the winter conditions ahead!
