Cabins are filling up very fast. I’m blown away by the lack of availability on interior, window and balcony cabins. My advice: if you’re considering a cruise this year- book now. Nobody was hurt and there were no medical emergencies, but some were still unfortunate enough to be left behind, at no fault of their own. This is exactly why I preach travel insurance and passports. Yes, this was a decision made from the cruise line so they will cover the cost of whatever accommodations necessary. This wasn’t too bad. However, you still may need to fly back in other circumstances - and that requires a passport.

Being an AARP member, I received an email today going over benefits and noticed they had a travel booking section. So - of course I looked. Even if I make zero commission, I always want what’s best for my clients. Let’s see what their prices are.

I was actually blown away. It’s not a small difference.. it’s quite a difference 😳. Same dates, same 2 travelers. My prices were over $20 per night cheaper? Understandably, my buying power is pretty massive, being a franchise so we often get exclusive pricing. But AARP is supposed to offer discounts, right? My side shows $82, discounted from $99. The AARP site shows $ 109, not discounted from anything.

If you dont go through a travel agency, always double check the pricing. Compare it. Especially if it claims to give you special pricing.
